Metui Maile was sustained as Bishop with Victor Ngalu and Lyle Elisara as counselors in the new bishopric. We congratulate these brethren and their families on these new opportunities to serve.

This word is used many times in the scriptures, and I do not believe it refers solely to physiological hearing with natural ears. Rather, it is hearing with the mind and hearing with the heart.

17.01.2022 To: All members of Mortdale Stake Dear Brothers and Sisters, This coming weekend will be our first Stake Conference of 2021. We look forward to being together with you as we are instructed by Elder Kazuhiko Yamashita (Seventy) of the Area Presidency and Elder Mark Peteru (Seventy) along with other leaders and members of our stake. This will be a unique conference with some meetings being a hybrid between people attending in person and people attending remotely via webcast. Sa...turday’s Leadership session will be an in-person meeting while the Saturday Evening and Sunday sessions of conference will be in-person and broadcast. Attendance Guidelines: - Under current social distancing rules, we will be able to accommodate approximately half of the stake within the Stake Centre for the Sunday session (approximately 420 people). - We invite members to choose between attending in person at the Stake Centre or to view the conference via broadcast in their homes for the two general sessions. Note the Leadership Meeting will be in person attendance only. - If members cannot access view the broadcast then attending the meetinghouse is the best option. - For those planning to attend in person, please plan to arrive early and be ready to sign in using the Service NSW app (https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/covid-safe-check-customers-f). Stake/Ward Council Leadership Meeting: Saturday, 6th March from 3pm. Attendance in person. After returning from the New Zealand Wellington Mission he has accepted a new assignment to labour in the Australia Brisbane Mission. We wish him well as he embarks in this new assignment.
