22.01.2022 The lovely Bonnie has decided its time to hang up her training harness and retire from active duty with her mate Pete at the Club. She is looking forward to sleeping in and strutting around in her gold collar. Thanks for all the cuddles Bonnie. Enjoy your retirement!

21.01.2022 The forecast for tomorrow is HOT and we advise you to stay home from training if you think it’s too hot for you or your dog. Young dogs and old dogs are particularly affected in extreme heat. We are concerned about the temperature for the classes at 10am, however as it is our LAST intake of new members for 2020 we WILL run the Introduction Class (at 10am) in the coolest, shadiest spot we can find. For the other 10am classes, please keep your eye on this page as we will ev...aluate the heat and post any class cancellations by about 9.30am At this stage, 9am classes should go ahead under the trees - but please if you or your dog don’t cope in the heat, stay home! If it is unbearable at 8.30 am, we may cancel, so please check our page before you head down. Fingers crossed the weather improves as December 6 is our last day of training for this year and we’d love to see you all before the break. In lieu of our annual Christmas bbq (cancelled because of COVID), we have presents for your dogs to collect, after classes on that final day!! Stay cool, and hope to see you tomorrow!!

19.01.2022 RETURN TO TRAINING SUNDAY JULY 5 2020 Due to social distancing restrictions we have made the following changes to class times and procedures for the foreseeable future... NEW MEMBERS: The weekly limit of new dogs admitted to the club is now 10. Numbers are allocated on a first-in basis and places will be assigned in person only from 9.30 am each Sunday, weather dependent. To join it will cost $15 per person and bring your dog’s current vaccination certificate (this is comp...ulsory and can be a photo on your phone, so long as dates are clear). The introduction class is required for all new members and runs for 45 minutes. Bring some food rewards for your dog (something they like) and avoid giving your dog breakfast on the day, so they are keen to pay you attention. CLASS 1 & CLASS 2: One 45 minute session will be held on Sundays starting at 10 am. CLASS 3 & CLASS 4: One 45 minute session will be held on Sundays starting at 9 am. ASSEMBLY: Because we have reduced training sessions to one, both the assembly and morning tea have been temporarily cancelled. Promotion Certificates will be available for collection after class on the week following your test. Your dog will still be able to choose a toy as well. Promotions will be posted on Social Media. GROUND FEE: Please ensure you bring exactly $2 to avoid handling by volunteers. An ink stamp on your wrist will be applied as proof of payment and will need to be shown to your instructor if requested. NAME BADGES: Wearing your name badge is now compulsory: no badge = no admittance. Look after your name badge as it will not be re-issued. LATE ARRIVALS: Please arrive in plenty of time for class. Anyone arriving after the start of class will not be admitted. SOCIAL DISTANCING: Please be aware of social distancing guidelines by following the 4m2 rule and keeping a minimum distance of 1.5m from others. Volunteers may direct you to increase distances if required. HEALTH & HYGIENE: We will have plenty of hand sanitiser available so please feel free to use. If you are feeling unwell, please stay home. If you become unwell in the days following class attendance and test positive to C19, please contact The Club immediately ([email protected] or 0410 860 093). AGILITY: 4th Class Agility is cancelled until further notice. WEATHER: Last minute cancellations due to bad weather will be posted on Facebook. Every effort is made to give plenty of notice if classes are cancelled.

19.01.2022 The end of the year is quickly approaching. There are only 3 weeks left of training before we finish up for the summer break. Due to the situation with COVID, we have taken the decision to cancel our annual Christmas BBQ. Because we don't want the dogs to miss out on some Christmas Cheer, there will be a present for every club dog on the last day of training 6 December! So after class, don't forget to come and let your dog choose something from the Christmas Barrel of Fun!

15.01.2022 We are all looking forward to getting back to training this Sunday, 5 July. Don’t forget: To arrive early enough to have your name recorded as per government guidelines latecomers will not be admitted to class! Your name badge you will not be admitted to class without it! Bring a $2 coin to pay the ground fee. ... To follow social distancing directions, follow the 1.5m/4m sq rule at all times. See more

13.01.2022 Following an update from Dogs NSW, we have reviewed the possible date of return to training. At this stage classes will resume on Sunday 5 July, unless general social distancing guidelines are relaxed earlier.

12.01.2022 Although our weekly Introduction Class for New Members is now limited to 10 new dogs (for social distancing requirements), it will be held EVERY week weather dependent. No bookings are taken and places will be allocated on-site from 9.30 am each Sunday. Be early to ensure your place in the queue, or plan to join on one of the following Sundays! See www.ldtc.com.au for more information.

11.01.2022 As a result of C19, some class times have changed. Third Class will now be held for one 45 minute session only at 9am. Please arrive early for all class as you will now need to have your name recored in line with NSW Department of Health regulations. No latecomers will be permitted to join classes and wearing name badges will now be strictly monitored.
