25.01.2022 Hi everyone just an update on our mate Ian Hocking they turned the life support of earlier this week tuff old bugger hung in there for a few days and passed away in his sleep earlier today all our thoughts and prayers to his family at this sad time he will be missed
25.01.2022 Hi Everyone It’s time to driver nominate for 8th Nov same thing again Drivers and family and friends need one name how many senior and junior drivers and how many family and friends please don’t list junior drivers names just how many all COVID rules will still apply if you need more info call Garry 0414459378 or Sam 0433080658. There will also be a working be on sat 7th nov this time we will need more than the usual few people to help clean up the storm damage. If we do not get enough help I will be cancelling the meeting getting sick of only a few doing all the work on Saturday but everyone can manage to get there Sunday to race I will do another post on Thursday to talk about the working bee So Stay safe. 18.01.2022 Hi Everyone. Well what a great day on Sunday. Nice fine day lots of new people and visitors from other clubs. I want to congratulate everybody on a great job with the COVID rules also thanks to all the people that helped run the day from flags to food so much to do there was so much close safe racing it was great to see all the visitors from Hattonvale and Dalby clubs Driver of the day went to Hayley Czerwinski winning all her races in very tuff company Our ne...xt race meeting is 11th Oct It was good to see our visit from a black snake on the back straight turned out ok and that Sam was alright after his crash that red flagged the final 220 mod race We will need to have a large working bee before the next meeting I will let you know more about it later this week. 15.01.2022 Hi everyone. Well thanks to the fantastic people that turned up today the track is now ready for tomorrow. We all understand the COVID rules now we have all been doing so well The day will run as normal In your pits by 8.00 am with the right money and your own pen we will come to you to sign in... 12.01.2022 Hi everyone. Here we are race weekend it feels so good Got to go through some info. So here we go. We need to be in our pits ready to sign in by 8.00 am you will need your own pen and cash that is close to the amount you need to sign in Every body will have there no contact temperature taken also the govt have suggested we ware a mask but that will be your choice we will have masks available if you need one Also all COVID rules will be in place hopefully we will ...do as good a job as last meeting. Canteen will be open and Milton will have a nice meat tray raffle $2 a ticket so have some coins ready it sells out quick As before it will be a driver only meeting and one adult per junior driver sorry no family or spectators we need to watch the 100 people rules there will be large and small pits available so use what suits your amount of karts. If you are new find a pit and we will come and help you. If you need more info call Garry 0414459378. If you have had contact with the virus or unwell please be responsible for yourself and others and do not attend the meeting Last of all we will working at the track from 7.30 am tomorrow so if you can spare an hour or so please come and give us a hand. Just got a phone call to let us know they are turning the life support off on a good friend of ours tonight Ian Hocking has been around go karting for as long as l can remember he has been a great friend to a lot of us he will be remembered as a good guy that would help anybody he will be missed greatly. So please keep Byron and there family in your prayers

It’s that time again time for driver nominations for 11th oct Due to the COVID rules starting to ease this month we will be allowing drivers and families so when you nominate we need one persons name how many senior and junior drivers and how many family members please do not list junior drivers names. All COVID rules will apply. If you need more info call Garry 0414459378 or Sam 0433080658. We do ask if you are sick or had contact with the COVID virus please do the right thing and do not nominate and seek medical help. We will also need to have a working bee on sat 10th oct there is a fare bit to do so if you won’t to have this meeting we need as many people as possible to come and help I will give more info on working bee next Friday Talk soon Stay Safe. 05.01.2022 Hi. Everyone Phone call with govt today and things went well. Because we have a good updated COVID plan in place we will be allowed to race on the 13th sept as long as there are no more changes So things look good Because it is a new month I am now calling for driver nominations for the 13th sept it will be the same rules of drivers only and one adult per junior. no family or spectators sorry but we are getting close to our 100 people with drivers and helpers la...st month we topped 90 people in total So get in quick for a spot there is also a few added COVID rules we will be taking your temperature when you arrive and every body will have need to wear a mask all day plus our normal COVID rules. The club will supply a mask if you do not have one So if these rules don’t affend you and your not feeling sick you are welcome to attend. please do the right thing and don’t nominate and seek medical help if you are not well When you do nominate we need one persons name and how many seniors and juniors and adults for juniors. please do not list juniors names just how many At this stage we need driver numbers and pray there are no more major changes to COVID rules I am talking with the govt two times a week at the moment to keep up with things so I will keep you up dated. 05.01.2022 Hi Info for working bee on Saturday Will start 7.30 am The recent storms have made a mess at the track So we will need a hand to fix this up I realise some people have to work and that is ok ... If you are not working and can come and help that would be great There is a fare bit to clean up If you can bring a whipper sniffer ,shovel or gloves it will help The more people we get the quicker it will happen We have to get this work done or it will not be safe to race So it is up to us If you need more info call Garry 0414459378. 03.01.2022 Hi Everyone. Well we thought every thing was good for tomorrow and we have woken up this morning with the govt now changing the gathering rules back to 10 people and no one from the new hot spots allowed to attend Brisbane Redland bay Logan Ipswich Lockyer valley so that means that 90 percent of our people can not attend So with that news we have no choice but to cancell tomorrows meeting. Sorry for this sad news but we have to follow govt rules all our safety does c...ome first Hopefully our next meeting will be sept 13th. It will depend on the outcome of this shit virus. I will keep updating this site as we get more news It is such a shame the track came up so good And we also ask that no one go near the track in the mean time so we know the track is safe and we can start racing as soon as we are allowed.
