15.01.2022 Macquarie Bank are reducing their home loan interest rates between 0.150.40% following yesterday’s RBA rate announcement. Some of the highlights include new rates of: 2.89% p.a. for owner occupier P&I at 70% LVR one-, two- and three-year fixed (0.30% reduction) ... 2.99% p.a. for owner occupier P&I at 70% LVR four- and five-year fixed (0.40% reduction) 3.09% p.a. for owner occupier P&I at 70% LVR (0.15% reduction) 3.39% p.a. for investor P&I at 70% LVR (0.15% reduction). These rates are effective for new loans from Tuesday 8 October 2019. For existing loans, variable rates will be reduced by 0.15% from Thursday 17 October 2019. For owner occupied customers paying principal and interest repayments, the Standard Variable Rate has reduced by 0.60% p.a. since June 2019. On a $500,000 home loan, that means an indicative saving of $184 every month, or $2,214 annually.
