25.01.2022 Who doesn’t love spaghetti?! Today’s bolognese was made with tuna instead of beef or pork... a little trick I learnt from an old Italian friend of mine (and his Nonna)!

25.01.2022 Steamy, yummy Curried Sausages with rice for lunch today. This one has always been a winner... and today was no different!

24.01.2022 Another bunch of full tums today! Yoghurt with berries, muesli and banana for morning tea, Vegetarian Tortillas for lunch (always a winner), and Pumpkin Scones with assorted dried fruits for afternoon tea! Dont forget, dried fruits have a higher concentration of natural sugars and should be served in much smaller portions than fresh fruit. Our serving size is 1 teaspoon of sultanas with 2-3 small pieces of other dried fruits, depending on the age and activity level of each child

24.01.2022 Good afternoon! This morning we enjoyed toast with milk, watermelon and apples! Lunch was Chicken Noodle and Corn Soup with Toast Fingers. Afternoon tea was Pizza Fingers with watermelon and mandarines Did you know that there are several watermelon farms in Bundaberg? When they are in season, you can get a whole watermelon for just a few dollars at stalls on the side of various main roads in and out of town!

24.01.2022 Happy Friday! Today we enjoyed a Vegetable, Beef and Pasta Soup with Croutons, packed full of nutritious vegetables to get us through the day! This one is amazing because, like so many dishes on our menu, you can interchange and add as many vegetables as you like

24.01.2022 Hard to choose a favourite today! The Sausage Pasta Bake is always great, but who can pass up on a delicious platter with Cheesymite Dip?! This one is simple... cheese spread and vegemite, mixed to taste. Enjoy it on toast, with vegetable sticks, crackers... anything you prefer!

22.01.2022 Oh look! Its our sister centre- just down the road by the beach! We love our sister centre at Bargara and look forward to our catch-ups with their team throughout the year!

20.01.2022 Happy Monday! Today we enjoyed Blueberry Smoothies and Strawberry Smoothies with some fresh fruit for morning tea. Lunch was a very special Pumkpin and Cheese Macaroni with Hidden Vegetables. Afternoon tea was a favourite; Banana Pancakes with Honey Yoghurt Did you know that todays lunch recipe used 2.5kg of hidden vegetables? Plus, we had no leftovers! Thats a lot of goodness in our bellies today
