19.01.2022 Do you have a child attending Kindergarten in 2021 and you're only eligible for 36 hours or less through the Child Care Subsidy? If yes, you may be eligible for... 36 hours of subsidised care per fortnight for your Kindergarten Child. This Activity Exemption applies if a family meets the following criteria: They are eligible for Child Care Subsidy They are not otherwise exempt from the activity test It is the year before their child starts primary school, and their child attends a kindergarten (preschool) program at a Centre Based Day Care Service This exemption only applies to Kindergarten (preschool) aged children. It does not apply to other children in the same family. Family’s should provide Centrelink with their child's expected school start date through MyGov or the Express Plus Centrelink mobile app. Centrelink will use this information to work out if the exemption applies. 04.01.2022 Pre-prep play groups are a great way for our kindergarten children to transition to big school without the added fear of the un-known. Our Friday’s consist of meet and greets with the BARGARA state school prep teachers and other children who will be attending the same year with the added bonus of some pretty cool activities.
