20.01.2022 Friday last, 31st July, I had the pleasure of providing part of the farewell tribute to a long-serving member of the Transdev Sydney Ferries Balmain Shipyard staff. Appropriately the central work was this view in oils of the shipyard in 1980, the year following his commencement at the shipyard. This was incorporated into a framed set of four prints of my earlier ferry paintings and completed with a dedication plaque. Another of my images made it onto the top of the farewell cake. Happy retirement David!
