17.01.2022 On Tuesday 1 September representatives from the three Leadership Illawarra Program partners: Graham Lancaster of TIC, Colin Picker of UOW Sydney Business School, Daniel Rowan of the LIP Steering Committee and Debra Murphy of RDA Illawarra to sign an MOU committing to supporting LIP for a further 3 years. Between them TIC, UOW Sydney Business School and RDA Illawarra are sponsoring 3 and a half scholarships for the 2021/22 Program applications are open now until 25 October ...2020 and we would love to hear from anyone who is interested in applying. The UOW scholarship for 2021/22 will be award to a candidate who has suffered hardship due to the COVID-19 crisis or the devastating bushfires of last summer. This fantastic program is a 2-year experiential journey of leadership workshops, masterclasses, site visits and mentoring. We are entering our 9th year of experiential learning for emerging leaders in the Illawarra region. 16.01.2022 Rod, Robert, Jake and Zahra enjoyed networking at The Illawarra Connection - TIC dinner last night. Rod and Robert represented The Flagstaff Group and Cardno respectively, and Zahra was a guest of her Mentor from last year, Warwick Shanks. We were pleased to witness Jake of Interchange Illawarra welcomed as a TIC member.

10.01.2022 RDA CEO Deb Murphy, Chair Eddy De Gabriele and Deputy Chair Joanna Kubota today caught up with Dr Brendan Nelson at the RDA National Forum in Canberra. Unfortunately Dr Nelson will no longer be director of the Australian War Memorial when we visit next year, however, we have good news. Debra secured Dr Nelson’s commitment to a private leadership discussion at a location and time to be confirmed in Sydney. Watch this space! Thanks Deb!
