11.01.2022 "I've just been fired by the CEO, I was told I don't fit into the company culture. I don't know what to do, I've never been fired before, I feel so embarrassed and ashamed." My response was the skittle & M&M analogy below. When an event occurs, ask yourself: "is my #mindset helping me or hindering me?" Believing that being different equates to the need to be ashamed isn't a helpful mindset. ... A more helpful mindset is to consider "what are my strengths? where would my strengths be valued elsewhere?" 07.01.2022 Are you guilty? In the desire to be #optimistic during this #pandemic, it's easy to unintentionally engage in toxic #positivity. Take a moment to hear yourself speak, listen to the words you share, be mindful of the impact of those words and try the replacement phrases. #emotionalintelligence #empathy #mindfulnessatwork

06.01.2022 Our CEO, Sarah Yip was awarded with Multicultural Entrepreneur of the year yesterday. Juggling the demands of being a mum and an entrepreneur can be challenging (especially when home schooling is thrown in the mix!) We really proud of our achievements this year. We launched Leaders Lounge in the early weeks of #Covid19 . I am proud to say we have been able to support 350 business leaders around the world in their transition to remote & agile leadership by delivering Australi...a’s first on-demand coaching service. Being awarded in the multicultural division is particularly special because my parents were migrants at the age of 18, came to Australia with little more than enthusiasm and a strong work ethic. They ran a successful series of businesses and taught me everything I knew about leadership and life: The power of empathy. The value of relationships. The importance of persistence in the face of adversity. The grace that comes with gratitude.
