23.01.2022 My new client Alecia is starting her new Strength & Conditioning program. Alecias goal is too build Upper & Lower Body strength and muscular development. Alecia has had recent Lower Back Injury while training by herself. She feels that her body has muscular imbalances which prevents her from training hard. ... Alecia came to Leading Edge Fitness wanting a complete training package. She wants a program that will be personalised for her training plus her injury management. Before Alecia starts her advanced training, she went through a full screening protocol. This included a Postural assessment, Movement analysis and Musculoskeletal examination. This information is the foundation of her personalised training program. Alecia received two programs, the first one covers the corrective exercises including self myofascial release work. The purpose of this is to correct muscular imbalances & movement asymmetries. The routine is a set of simple drills to help clear Tissue/Joint restrictions, Strengthen/Activate/Re-establish correct timing of muscles, Re-enforce primary movements and Relieve Pain. The second program done after the first Re-enforces the improvements in her Mobility/Stability of certain joints. The program uses a mixture of body weight exercises and resistance exercise focusing on single arm and leg movements. This program will progress to more Complex exercises and Strength & Conditioning principles once completed. Alecias training schedule is 3 day split. Corrective Exercise Program followed by Strength & Conditioning Program. Alecia can do more Corrective Exercise on her off days if need be. Leading Edge Fitness offers two complimentary Supervised Corrective Exercise classes per week, too help teach proper technique and establish compliance. She is also scheduled in for Remedial Massage Treatments. This will aid in faster improvements with Soft Tissue work, Trigger point therapy and Muscle Energy therapy. Health rebates available (eg HBF) Alecia is feeling on track with her training goals and feeling better at the same time. She received a complimentary body scan to track body fat %, skeletal mass % etc When Alecia is on her advanced training, she will use Anabolic Cooking to meet her Nutritional needs.
