23.01.2022 HNT Gordon spokeshaves. I’ve used many different brands and designs but these are hands down the best available anywhere. Brass bodies with superb balance and weighting. The handles are gidgee. One of the hardest timbers in the world and a joy to hold and use. I used these to shape the Aroa chair. Simply the best. #HNT Gordon another fantastic Australian tool maker.

22.01.2022 Harold and Saxon chisels made locally in Brisbane. Regarded as probably the World’s best. These are my chisels with Macassar Ebony handles. Steel alloy is M2. Very hard but incredibly tough with great edge retention. They are also quite light and nicely balanced. Give Trent Powrie a call.
