06.01.2022 Galilee Catholic School's co-principal, Sharon Doyle, discusses the professional learning process staff are undertaking with LeadLearn: 'LeadLearn Consulting have been working with our staff over the last two terms to look carefully into our teaching practice. Our aim is to build on good teaching practice and ultimately improve student learning. Students completed a ‘learning environment’ survey which examined their experience of classroom practices and teaching approaches.... Staff have reected on the results, discussed teaching practices which can lead to improvements and decided on key changes in conversation with the LeadLearn consultants. This learning through action research and coaching has been invaluable, and such a collaborative approach. The enthusiasm of staff to get involved is testament to their real eagerness to learn what a great model of learning for our students! And it’s certainly a positive reection of ‘together we grow’.
