Today we are featuring our turkey nuggets. Made from free-range turkey tenderloin medallions that are lightly crumbed by hand. They are juicy, full of flavour, moorish and not just for kids! If you like our schnitzels, youre going to love our nuggets.

Featured today is our popular smoked turkey breast. Fully cooked and ready to eat - its super convenient, has a lovely mild smokey flavour and firm moist texture. Great in a salad, a sandwich or as an appetiser served with cheese and bickies. Its a proven crowd pleaser.

21.01.2022 Its super hot (and dry) at the farm today and we work hard to keep our turkeys cool and comfortable with shade and misting sprinklers. During the peak of the heat we apply regular (and very welcome) light sprays of water directly to the birds, and they love the relief it brings. This weekend well be at Bentleigh Farmers Market on Saturday and on Sunday will be at Eltham Farmers Market. Thankfully it will be much cooler this weekend - see you there.

The Veg Out St Kilda Farmers Market today was so busy we have nothing left to sell. Were working hard to make sure we dont have this issue again as the demand for our premium free-range turkey increases.

The decontamination process is complete and sterilisation is almost complete. Christmas will go ahead despite our set back, however all products will be frozen this year. We worked hard during the first half of the year and have plenty of whole birds and rolls available. 20.01.2022 Checkout these 4 week old turkeys having a dust bath. Dust baths are an important way for our turkeys to stay healthy and clean. The dust helps remove excess oil from their skin, keeps parasites under control and improves the condition of their feathers as well - all naturally. Plus they love it. 09.01.2022 Tomorrow well be at Bentleigh Farmers Market and Sunday will be our first time at Alphington Farmers Market - hope to see you there. Featured today is our turkey breast steak - 100% turkey breast, nothing else. You can cook the steak as is, or create your own custom schnitzels with your crumbs of choice (like panko crumbs with herbs and parmesan cheese - amazing). This is the same cut we use for our amazing turkey breast schnitzels, and we sell them in twin packs.

06.01.2022 We wish to advise that Leadoux Turkeys has changed ownership, effective from April 1, 2020. We welcome the new owner Gavan Broad, of Pindarri Poultry, who will be trading under Leadoux Turkeys Pty Ltd. It will be business as usual for Leadoux Turkeys, and the excellent reputation that the Leadoux family and staff have established will continue and be expanded on by Gavan. Our valued customers can expect to receive the same continuity of service, attention to detail and premiu...m free-range turkey products to which they have become accustomed. Our fantastic staff will continue their employment under Gavans leadership. Gavan will to continue the dream to relocate the farm to the new highway site at Hillside and establish an on-farm shop, selling directly to the public. In the meantime, Gavan will continue operations from the existing Mt Lookout Rd site. Leadoux Turkeys will continue to attend the Farmers Markets, resuming once the COVID-19 restrictions allow us to safely return. Stay tuned for home delivery options as well. We wish Gavan and his family all the best for the future, and trust that they will be given the same support that the Leadoux family have received over the years. Judy will still have a presence within the business as a part-time consultant to help facilitate the smooth transition and ensure that customers can be confident that the same excellent service will continue throughout this transition. 05.01.2022 To our amazing customers, As if times aren’t hard enough at the moment with COVID 19, our beautiful little farm here in Bairnsdale has been struck with tragedy. Some turkeys in a batch that was delivered to us 2 weeks ago tested positive for Avain Influenza (bird flu) H5N2. As a result, our entire flock had to be euthanised and our farm put into quarantine for decontamination and sterilisation. Unfortunately this means it will take us several months before we will have turkeys at a size that we can process. Please keep an eye out here for updates, but rest assured WE WILL BE BACK!!
