20.01.2022 My mum has just started reading the book of Julia Baird, Phosphorescence: on awe, wonder and things that sustain you when the world goes dark. These words are on the back of the book and I just love them and found them helpful and inspiring. You might too.

17.01.2022 I had an important conversation about conflict and communication with Marcia Teperman, Self-Leadership Mentoring. Marcia has a lot of wisdom and insight and is doing a lot of good in the world. A little bit of a delay in the video but you can always close your eyes and listen :).

17.01.2022 I’ll be In Conversation with Jacqui Barrett, Partner, Hall and Wilcox tomorrow from 12 until 1.30 pm talking about important research commissioned by Hall and Wilcox in relation to the obstacles holding women back in the start-up arena. These findings also apply more generally to women in business and on this occasion, we’ll be focusing on what is known as the ‘Imposter Syndrome’. We will talk about what it is and strategies to help overcome this challenge and a lack of confidence more generally. https://business.cbdsydneychamber.com.au//cbd-women-in-bus

12.01.2022 Recently I've been going through a number of significant personal challenges. As I've experienced hard and intense emotions, I have paid attention to what has helped and ways that best support me to navigate through those difficult times. This is my personal and current 'how to'. I hope it helps you or someone you know .

11.01.2022 I'm so looking forward to this online event with Mitch Wallis. I privileged to work closely with Mitch, as a coach and facilitator for Heart on My Sleeve, and he is every bit as amazing as he seems. 11.01.2022 A beautiful way to express self acceptance. From what I have seen this is something all of us struggle with in work, life and relationships at least to some extent. Worth watching .

10.01.2022 I feel very privileged to be speaking with two wonderful women, Maria Fernanda Sanchez who is supporting others through her own experience and has an important story to tell and my business partner, Robyn Mercer who I appreciate every day and who I have seen navigate the journey of breast cancer with grace, determination, honesty and good humour. This In Conversation will be interactive, practical and super real. I hope you can join us. Tulsi

03.01.2022 Sending love to all on this Father's Day. For those that can celebrate this day, Happy Father's Day. And for those where this feels sad, hard and other emotions, sending you love . My heart hurts for you and so many people I know have lost fathers, and some so recently, and this time has made the hardship even more devastating. Others have different experiences that make this day difficult as well. There is support available including through Lifeline and they really offer an incredible service. It's also so important to reach out to loved ones where you can and get support. Feel free to send me a message too if that would help and we can have a chat . https://www.facebook.com//a.1212876480/10159078082598013/

03.01.2022 As we work with individuals, teams and leaders there is a theme we see. And I see it for myself in navigating my own struggles and challenges. It's a beautiful and often uncomfortable thing. The moments of hardship are the greatest opportunity for learning and change. It takes openness, vulnerability and sitting with the discomfort. It can be as simple as saying 'woah this feels hard and uncomfortable and I'm noticing it'. (That was me today). Or 'I'm having _____ feelings ...and I feel bad and shame about them and I wish I didn't have them'. What I have learned is the moment that I take some time to be with those hard feelings, talk and share with trusted love ones who I know will respond with understanding and acceptance, and explore where the feelings might come from, new insights come. I find some relief, connection is made and I find a place in myself that is clearer and more able to move forward in some way or at least I feel a little more settled. It's why I love the work we do and the difference that it can make because often it's only with support that this relief and focus can be found. This human struggle is a struggle for us all . With small strategies connected to self compassion, acceptance and connection we can help ourselves and others too.
