24.01.2022 Just how far is your $$ going??.... . Recognise the general key metrics to watch when running Facebook ads for your fitness business! . 2 general metrics to watch out for: ... . 1. Ad Frequency: . The average number of times that a person has seen your ad If this number increases towards 3 to 4+, then its time to refresh your ad Ad Costs will go up as nobody is taking action on your ad (FBs algorithm will recognise this) People can report or flag your ad as spam. In effect, this will increase ad costs and limit your ad exposure . 2. Ad Relevance (This is split across 3 metrics) . Quality Ranking How your ad is perceived in quality compared to other competitor ads competing for the same audience . Engagement Rate Ranking How likely your ad is to attract audience engagement through likes, shares, comments, clicks etc. in comparison to competitors competing for the same audience . Now, you might have the best engagement on your polished social ads, perfectly written text on your landing pages or even a video testimonial speaking about a member losing a mind blowing 50kg in a week.well we kid, maybe 2kg... . But if you dont have correct structure on your landing pages then you are still losing your audiences attention . Meaning, your advertising strategy isnt optimised and producing as many leads as it could be . So you arent able to sign as many new members as you wanted . Which ultimately means you wont have the cash to buy the 2 new squat racks your members have been pulling your leg for . Now this could impact your member retention as they leave to sign on with the gym right around the corner . We know for a fact youve worked your ass off to get to where you are and wouldnt want that for your gym . So take a step back and review your landing page structure to ensure that it CONNECTS with your audience in the following format: . 1. Who is this 6-Week challenge not for? . 2. Who is this 6-week challenge for? . 3. What solutions does it solve in their lives? (link to their key problems) . 4. Social proof? (has it impacted peoples lives before? how?) . 5. Contrary to the 100s of gurus out there preaching overnight success in growing your member base or clientele! . You get re directed to a landing page. . You then see that the landing page has a quick 30 second video tour of the gym, a details form for name etc. but nothing about a 6-week challenge. . You lose interest, click the back button, switch to instagram and continue watching that cat video you started last night . . . Now, this sounds like such an obvious fix right? . But the TRUTH is that 50% of the fitness ads I have seen today, have redirected to landing pages that are NOT CONSISTENT with the ad. . Think about that for a second. . Youre practically letting the water tap run into the sink with a large leak all over the floor, essentially flooding your house and costing you thousands.. . You wouldnt be that careless, would you? . So why should your advertising strategy be any different? . Simple solution: - Keep your landing pages consistent with your Facebook Ads - If there is an offer on your ad, ensure that it is CLEARLY presented at the top of the landing page - Stay congruent, add testimonials from those that have taken the 6-week challenge before.
