Sticking with the oxide theme, this one uses #distressoxideinkpads for the background. Lots of awesome stamps from @carabellestudio, @concordand9th and @stampersanonymous for texture and #blackgesso around the #TCW355CaseyAndPenelope mask. @ Scrapbook Cottage

19.01.2022 Normally I try to keep my botanical and nature enthusiasm under control so the participants in @scrapbookcottage mixed media classes have a variety of projects to create. But this time I let it loose with leaves and bees. A combo of new discoveries and old favourites this month: a fabulous leafy napkin, #tcw568movingvines stencil from @tcwstencils, stamped bees from the @darkroom_door Buzzing Bees stamp set, @tim_holtz nesting hexagon dies with #distressoxidesprays and @dinawakley paint.
19.01.2022 Messy fingers were common yesterday at the February #artjournalling class at @scrapbookcottage. #washitape to mask off the areas we didnt want #distressoxidesprays and we went crazy in our DIY spray boxes. A little bit of text stamping using the @darkroom_door Handwriting stamp and voila! #scrapbookcottageclasses @ Scrapbook Cottage

19.01.2022 Designed this #artjournal page a few months ago, but it got bumped off the roster when COVID happened. Excited to be able to teach it in tomorrows online mixed media class for @scrapbookcottage. Loads of texture, @tim_holtz #embossingglaze and a stencil by @tcwstencils with texture paste make for a super textural layout. And I used some of the scrapbook paper barcode strips Ive been hoarding for a decade!

Weve worked out the technology so its full steam ahead This Fridays class is inspired by lots of new products from @tim_holtz (Field Notes & Faded Type stamps, embossing glazes & Typeset collage paper), @darkroom_door (Polka Dot and Number Jumble stencils) and paints from #Dylusions and @dinawakley.

04.01.2022 Hawkesbury Regional Gallery will reopen its doors on Saturday, 18 July 2020, with the major exhibition Fieldwork landscapes west of Sydney. Fieldwork is an Ar...t Gallery of New South Wales touring exhibition which will be on display until Sunday, 20 September.
