15.01.2022 LCA Qld Representative Mark Hennelly recently visited Wynnum Manly Leagues Club and was shown through the progress of the $10 million renovations by CEO, Craig Thomas. The new wing of the Club will provide for a brand new gaming room including a bar. Included in the renovations will be a brand new Café, Reception area and relaxed sports bar and seating area. To make way for this renovation, BMD Kougari Oval was moved back 6 metres for the increase in a 1000m2 footprint. T...he Club is very excited with the renovations progress and can't wait till the completed product. The Gaming Room is expected to open first week of October with the remainder of the project completion early 2021. A stop over at Wynnum Manly Leagues Club's other venue Fielders showcased a major rebuild that was completed in December 2018. 14.01.2022 A great way to launch the rugby league 2020 season and celebrating community and culture, with the passionate Indigenous All Stars Vs Maori Kiwis. Final score Maori 30 / Indigenous 16. Great to see players and all involved in the game, supporting nine year old Murri boy, Quaden Bayles.

03.01.2022 A message from Peter Turnbull, CEO, Leagues Clubs Australia. As you are all aware, the impacts of COVID-19 are being monitored globally and here in Australia the regulations regarding the measures to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) are being ramped up on a day-by-day basis. As a result, we have made the decision to postpone the 2020 LCA / IGT Gaming & Management Conference, scheduled for, The Star Gold Coast from May 13th 15th, 2020.... We apologise for any inconvenience and will be looking at the possibility of holding the Conference later this year, but that will be totally dependent on the health situation improving dramatically.
