19.01.2022 Coastal Massage & Covid-19 Yes, I am still taking clients. Please rest assured that in my clinic: * Towels are washed and dried in a hot clothes dryer after EVERY client. No towel is ever used a second time for a different person, every client has fresh laundered towels. ... * Massage Table underneath towels is wiped down with antibacterial spray during each table set-up. * My clients know that as I leave you to undress and hop on the table, I announce that im going to wash my hands before your treatment- my hands are thoroughly washed using the correct therapist technique [we dont wash just our hands, our hands are washed right up to and past our elbow] both BEFORE and AFTER your treatment. * If clients are unwell or showing signs of any cough/cold/flu/virus they are asked to reschedule - I have never treated anyone with a temperature or other - this has been protocol even before the Covid-19 outbreak. Massaging anyone who is feeling unwell and has any viral symptoms would only push the virus around their body and make them feel even worse, and could worsen their condition so I dont book them, so there will never be any people who have been or are unwell in my clinic when you visit. * If I show signs of being unwell, I will always reschedule my clients. I understand that during this time there are people who will choose to not be touched. For anyone who needs me, I am still open. Take care and look after one another. 17.01.2022 Goodbye Isolation Hello Massage Im finally reopening my clinic now that there are no cases of Covid on the Central Coast! We have all had a long boring journey to nowhere at home for the past few months and I know some of you have been dying to get back to me! ... A few things to note: Book online still! I do hope to be able to confirm all appointments but getting back into it, Im not sure what my permanent available hours even are yet so if I cant do the time you request- I will message you back with the closest time to it that I can do Please please dont book if you have a cold or cough or any symptoms that might indicate you are falling ill, not just for Covid 19, but any cold or flu coming into winter too - I have been wary as I am immunocompromised so I am susceptible to these things - be kind to me please and dont share winter germs On that note - Massage while youre unwell only pushes the viruses and germs around your body making you more unwell than you might have been anyway (youde feel very ikky afterwards) Late night will be Monday & Friday nights with 7pm the latest booking. 14.01.2022 I have some exciting news for the future of Coastal Therapeutic & Remedial Massage Towards the end of 2020 I will be specialising as a Pregnancy, Labour & Birth Touch Therapist. Expectant parents will be able to book for singular treatments or choose a package wherein they will receive prenatal massages, Labour massage/s, counterpressure (can hugely relieve contraction pains) and hypno birthing support by me, on call 24/7 from 38 weeks until birth. I will meet in your ho...me or at hospital for your labour. I can attend births IF the parents wish me to stay through, and will be available post birth for wind down relaxation massages for both mum & of course new baby. Of course, Dad/Partner also can get a relaxation or remedial treatment after such a big day. This week I have been writing up my business plan and working on a schedule that will allow me to keep the same high standard in massage for my current and future remedial clients. Bookings in my clinic will not change, I am just adding a new service to my list. 02.01.2022 Is remedial massage for everyone? absolutely! Little Stevie was at daycare when she complained of having a sore neck, the daycare staff told mum that her shoulder and neck muscles felt tight, and mum brought her to the clinic this morning. On examination she did indeed have contracted muscles in her right upper trap and levator scapulae muscles which were making moving her neck painful, she came in holding it. She was the best little client and obviously the stinkin cutest Ive ever had! Of course when we treat children, mum stays in the room at all times and we always use gentle pressure with a finger or thumb rather than an elbow like the grown ups get! she was very brave and felt some relief after her treatment, and is going to visit again for a checkup soon!

Between the 16-18th June this glorious set will arrive at the Coastal Remedial Clinic! The pregnancy bolster pillow set will give you the option of laying face down while still supporting (and most importantly not squashing) your precious baby belly (and of course lets not forget the cut out section for sore breasts) For those who w...ere unaware, I do pregnancy massage from 12+ weeks. 1 hour $80. *note: I do not touch hands or feet during pregnancy massage from 12-38 weeks. From 38+ weeks I can include both hands and feet - there are labour acupressure points I can stimulate which can help with getting your body ready for a smoother labour and delivery, and if baby is ready (it does not magically happen if baby is comfortable and not ready for the world) but if so, in some cases it can trigger contractions that progress into labour
