25.01.2022 Weekend breaky from Boxing Day until Easter... anyone else? My fave ‘off the shelf’ is fruitless but Locally, @elmorebakery sticky date are the best thing EVER. And I also hear that @bridgewater_bakehouse are doing white choc and Nutella hotties - will defs be trying those!

24.01.2022 Hi, my name is Leah. Or, as my kids know me; snack bitch and sick bay lady for the next 2 weeks. Luckily for me, I at least get the pleasure of getting out my new (and very lovely) Rhythm First Aid kit when there is an emergency (eg: paper cut)... What’s your parenting style when it comes to bandaids? I have a ‘no blood, no bandaid’ rule here. Or do you see it as a battle not worth fighting and let them go nuts? #RhythmFirstAid #FirstAidKit

22.01.2022 I never knew all of these things made a difference to night sleeps but we’ve been working with Tiny Sleepers Australia over the last week and have seen big improvements already after making a few tweaks to the below things!!

22.01.2022 Can I get an amen? Tag your tired Mama friends

19.01.2022 WOW When I decided to try and get 20 bags for #ItsInTheBag2020 this year, I truly thought I would be pushing the friendship. I imagined having to buy 20 bags myself just so I didn’t look stupid But here we are. Surpassing every target I set us. We put together 55 bags! We had $780 cash/gift card donations and we had multiple businesses out their hand up and donate product.... It’s been a ROUGH year for small business, but these legends still dug deep and found time to donate. I have some people I want to thank, so ‘Scuse the long post! to @laurenandcosharebendigo, the lead volunteer for our region. Who has been messaging me daily with advice and help and giving me encouragement and love. What you do is AMAZING. This is a full time role, but she manages to squeeze this in amongst work, kids and life and is just so inspiring to me. To @junobendigo for offering your shop as a drop off point. I can guarantee we wouldn’t have put so many bags together if people had to drop them out to me in Marong! They gave up their entire tea room to house bags for us, so THANK YOU! To @mabelandwoods @slc263 @doylesiga_kaniva @theheartofhewkins and @jenc_au for your amazingly generous cash/gift card donations. To @mrsstacelakes and @elloomes for helping me write messages of hope on 80+ greeting cards. To the businesses that donated product: @metime.justforme @g_handmade_soaps @olieveandolie @emily_k_australia @lovebug.kids @mint.and.blossom @seriously_milestones @kindkidstoothbrushes @casualstep @sunna_fairy @tootsandco (Apologies if I have forgotten anyone!) And to everyone who took the time to put together bags, WOW! I have 55 in my garage right now, but I know of so many legends who dropped directly to Bunnings too. PROUD

18.01.2022 These days I really look forward to weekends. I get help with this guy. No pick ups or drop offs to juggle. The days are long sometimes, but totally worth it. I mean, look at him. Also, this photo was taken with my iPhone. Would anyone be keen if I put a course together on how to take sweet ass photos of your kids using your phone?

18.01.2022 Easier said than done though!

16.01.2022 One day, when I grow up, I want to learn the art of ceramics. It’s on the bucket list. What’s on your bucket list? (This beauty is by @crystalmorrisseydesigns )

15.01.2022 Sending a little thought and positive vibes to those who are struggling this holiday weekend, and just any day in general

12.01.2022 It me [True story: I once found a stray cat on the beach at schoolies in Byron Bay. Kept him at my accommodation for the week. Drove him 16,000 km’s home]

12.01.2022 When Melb friends call for help, it’s always a yes from me. My dear friend Ali from @featherandnoise has been absolutely killing it this year, always showing up with brand new ideas for photo shoots and video during lockdown. But man, for an e-com business... not being able to shoot for most of the year? Crippling. So when I got a DM asking if I could help, it’s a shit yes to pausing my maternity leave momentarily to help when I can.... We go local beauty @payntonjolliffe in front of the lens, and @emaleemason to help with styling. Behind the lens in my mask I was fogging up my viewfinder, and had to time it all perfectly in between Raff’s feeds, but check it out... I’m proud of what we created. #SecondNature edit is now live and is absolutely delightful

07.01.2022 When great people and great branding collide If you’ve been following along for a little while you know I’m trying to be better where it comes to <- this girl. Mother Earth. I’m not perfect. But when I know better, I can do better. So the last couple of years I’ve been making a conscious effort to educate myself on how my lifestyle impacts the climate.... Enter @zeroco.com.au - A badass Aussie brand who have stolen my heart when it comes to cleaning products. I ordered my starter pack last week and when it arrived I fell in love. Firstly, with the branding. I won’t lie. I’m stoked to have this much pretty in my home. But, as I explained when I messaged them today... I would have also bought it if it were ugly because of the story behind it. Each of these bottles? Made from plastic that was teaches from the ocean. So how it works, is you order your starter kit, you get these bad boys and the matching satchels that are filled with the liquid cleaning product. Once you’ve emptied the satchel, you post it back (in the reply paid envelope) and they send you a new one. It’s simple. Yet so genius. In one day, I have now eliminated 8 x products I would usually buy in single use plastic bottles. Say I replaced each product 5 times a year, that is 40 plastic bottles I am now *not* throwing into landfill. That feels good.

07.01.2022 Been drawing Anyone else getting creative these holidays?

06.01.2022 Hello And a belated HNY to you all! 2020 was a wild ride so I’m heading into 2021 with zero expectations. Each year I pick a word, it’s a bit lame but it keeps me on track. This years word is SETTLE.... I plan to settle into the things I already have. Enjoy what I’ve worked so hard for. No real goals. No expectations. Just nurturing what I already have. My marriage My kids My friendships My home My community Do you have a word?

04.01.2022 When we got married, we decided that on our 10 year wedding anniversary we wanted to renew our vows and have another ‘wedding’. Yesterday we celebrated that milestone and fuck it was special. To have the kids there and part of it was absolutely amazing. We invited our families and closest friends. We cried, and boogied on the dance floor until the venue closed.... I don’t take any of this for granted, I know how lucky I am. Photographer: The ‘light Queen’ Claire Eastman Photography Celebrant: Michael Anderson - Bendigo Civil Celebrant Music: Jessica Lorraine Hair: @laura_crawf Makeup: KIN skin makeup body Arbor: @madimaephotography_ and I made the floral arrangement (with the help of my friend @sarz_45 !) which I’m STOKED with how it turned out!
