25.01.2022 These lights captured my attention at last years Denfair in Melbourne - not only for their simplistic yet statement design, but how the lights were showcased at the fair. The crinkled paper backdrop was so effective in highlighting shadows, mixing natural and manmade materials, and really drew focus to the elegance and structure of the design, in comparison to the chaos of the paper. This is a perfect example of good design, creating balance between organic and non organic shapes and materials.

24.01.2022 Some finer details of our bespoke study desk for a client. This was a very challenging piece to do! 22.01.2022 3D concept of the land room from the Applecross residence. The property has such a rich history that we wanted to give each room its own unique story inspired by different elements of the sites past. The site has important significance to the Beeliar Noongar people of the Whadjuk as a hunting ground. The room features an art pieces turned wallpaper by local Noongar man Yondee Shane Hansen, called Emu Feathers. We love creating design with meaning and a story and were absolutely thrilled with the final product. Cant wait to share some photos

16.01.2022 When selecting fabrics I like to go with something that has a little bit of movement and depth to the fabric, and that doesnt always mean going for a pattern. When selecting your finishes check out your samples in natural light and artificial light and mix flat fabrics with textures and patterned prints. ... I love this combo of the flat charcoal powdercoat finish with the two textured natural toned fabrics. 14.01.2022 Finding Inspiration (outside of Pinterest ) There are so many ways to find inspiration for your home, especially if you're wanting to create something truly unqiue. This bedroom here is from one of our residential projects in Applecross. We wanted to tell a different story with each of the bedrooms. Being a heritage home, we looked at showcasing the history of the house and location. With a rich Aboriginal history in the area, we decided to base one of the rooms around Noo...ngar culture featuring Noongar line art, not just as a piece of art on the wall, but as a permanent part of the home as a wallpaper. The art featured here is "Emu Feathers" by Shane Hansen created through @kirrikinaustralia. Ive been up here in Shark Bay since Saturday and we by far have the best beaches in the world... although when you decide to walk 12kms to the big lagoon because you dont have a 4wd and then need to hitchhike the rest of the way is something I probably wouldnt recommend ... 10.01.2022 For me it's not a stop and smell the roses moment, it's a stop and take a pic of where you're standing No matter where I've been around the world I always take a pic of me standing on the ground. It's something about looking back and acknowledging all the ground I've covered, all the sacred places I've stood and the beauty in nature that make me feel connected and grateful. 01.01.2022 As well as being a designer, I am also a dancer, teacher & choreographer Dancing from the age of 3, learning jazz, tap, ballet and hip hop, I had no idea dancing would bring to where I am today. Dancing has given me confidence, taught me resilience, taken me into physical theatre and taken me around the world. I never realised how much my background in dance and theatre would inspire me to be the designer I am today. ...
