06.01.2022 Custard - thought I had custard powder in the pantry to use so I googled a recipe I could use in thermy and put everything in without checking first - no custard powder !!! So I checked the tips and saved the day by adding cornflour as a substitute. Yay!! Lovely thick creamy custard. Mitch enjoyed having some for breakfast.

06.01.2022 That’s fancy says Mitch. This was surprisingly easy and very tasty. Rice cooked to perfection every time and the veges still had that slight crunch. Perfect!!

04.01.2022 So last night I felt like chocolate but I didn’t want all the sugar, so these chocolate carrot muffins did the trick. Gluten free, dairy free, refined sugar free. The best!! I replaced the milk with almond milk and the spelt flour with a combination of buckwheat flour and plain gf flour. Worked fine!! 04.01.2022 I have just had the best fun tonight trying out a new dish while doing a virtual demo to a lovely lady in Brisbane and her husband. They are now very excited about getting their new Thermomix delivered in a couple of weeks and I can’t help but be excited for them. She saw it at one of my virtual demos a couple of weeks ago and wasn’t quite convinced so we thought we would make something else. Seeing it again confirmed her decision. If you are sitting on the fence then maybe I can do a one on one demo with you to show you some of the features you may not know about or just want to see it again. Let me know if you’d like to have a look, these demos are so much fun!!! This is what we made- Korean pork fillet and rice salad plus bread rolls. I have eyed this dish off for a while and will now be a regular. Gosh it was good!!

04.01.2022 Morning!! Eggs for brekky done on the steamer tray in the varoma. These are so good and will be a regular. This is between a fried egg and poached egg. I’m impressed!! The texture ended up really creamy.

03.01.2022 Crispy Ghee Dosa with Pulya (spiced potato) filling and Pudina (mint) chutney - dosa batter ground and fermented in my Thermomix, Pulya and chutney made using thermimix. ONE vessel, minimal washing up, NO scrubbing!! It really doesn’t get easier than that!!
