20.01.2022 A bride carrying flowers has its roots in ancient times. In Ancient Rome, brides carried or wore flower garlands, believing that flowers signify new beginnings, fidelity and hope of fertility. ... It was during the Victorian era that flowers became part of the wedding bouquet and that has continued until today. https://www.modernwedding.com.au/wedding-traditions-why-br/

15.01.2022 Happy 1 year anniversary Craig & Liz Craig and Liz met whilst working at a remote mine site in Halls Creek. Their friendship grew over time as did their attraction to each other . One year ago today they said I do and the rest is history. Gorgeous photo by @kevinmcginnphotographer Craig and Liz chose this beautiful reading for thier ceremony;... THE PERFECT LOVE, THE PERFECT FRIEND (By Renee Duvall) Because you are my love... I know the joy that comes from feeling closer to someone than I’ve ever felt before. Because you are my love... I know the passion of wanting to share everything I have, everything I am with you and only you. Because you are my friend... I know that I can count on you to hold my hand through the rough times and to be there to share the good times too. Because you are my friend... I’ll always have someone to make me smile just when I need it most and to encourage me when I’m feeling confused or doubtful. I know that I must be one of the luckiest people in the world to have someone like you. The perfect love, the perfect friend. See more

10.01.2022 Woohoo we are heading in the right direction!! Weddings are now up to 10 people...I'm sure this is a relief for many people
10.01.2022 When planning your ceremony it is always useful to think outside the box. Why settle for the same old poem or reading everyone else is using?? Inspiration for your ceremony readings, vows and ring verses can come from your favourite TV show, movie or song. Your ceremony should be as individual as you are and there are no limits to what you can include. Happy planning!
09.01.2022 Congratulations Shannon & Ross! Your wedding was a little different to what you had originally planned but it was so incredibly beautiful

04.01.2022 A Good Wedding Cake 4lb of love. 1lb butter of youth. lb of good looks.... 1lb sweet temper. 1lb of blindness of faults. 1lb of self forgetfulness. 1lb of pounded wit. 1lb of good humour. 2 tablespoons of sweet argument. 1 pint of rippling laughter. 1 wine glass of common sense. 1oz modesty. Put the love, good looks and sweet temper into a well furnished house. Beat the butter of youth to a cream, and mix well together with the blindness of faults. Stir the pounded wit and good humour into the sweet argument, then add the rippling laughter and common sense. Work the whole together until everything is well mixed, and bake gently for ever. 03.01.2022 Woohoo wedding season is just around the corner! We are so lucky here in WA that the impact from the dreaded Rona has been minimal (compared to the rest of the world). You may be disappointed, upset or even angry about the changes you had to make to your wedding day...but there are some definite positives which have come out of this; 1. You can cull the guest list without feeling guilty - no longer do you feel the need to invite, Johnny, your second cousi...n twice removed who you have never met. 2. You save money. 3. Smaller ceremonies tend to be more personal and intimate. 4. You start to focus on what’s really important. 5. Less guests at the reception mean you might actually get a chance to eat and drink. 6. You are likely to feel more relaxed and really enjoy the day . Gorgeous photo by Aurora Rose Photography See more
