25.01.2022 National tree day is a wonderful time to engage in environmental activities that educates the children about the world around them. Leaps and Bounds took part in National Tree Day last Friday and we planted our very own mandarin tree.

24.01.2022 We were very lucky today to have a visit from a beekeeper. There were hundreds of bees at the back of Leaps and Bounds where they followed the Queen Bee to a tree. The beekeeper put on his special clothes and encouraged the bees to go into a new home (the yellow box) where they will be taken to a farm. The children all watched with great interest and had so many questions. What a wonderful way for the children to develop a strong awareness of their natural world and to learn about all the benefits bees have in our world.
