24.01.2022 Now more than ever we are choosing to make our Centre a space of safety and calm. We are lucky to have so much space to spread out and enjoy our days. Yoga will continue and we have brought in a mediation space. As we teach the children mindfulness and meditation we are all benefiting. As the children learn and play we can all forget about the outside world for awhile. Learn and Laugh has become our sanctuary where children can just be children :)

17.01.2022 Today we celebrated an important milestone for our uper lovely and caring director Jennifer. She has been at Learn and Laugh for 11 years! The whole centre helped her celebrate this fabulous achievement with cakes, balloons and cuddles. We also helped Lyne, one of our amazing educators celebrate her one year anniversary. Norma our very talented cook created some delicious delicacies for the staff to assist with the celebrations. 10.01.2022 Our middle preschool children have been learning about environmental issues throughout the year. We have discussed the use of plastic and how it affects the animals and sea life around us. Today we ventured outside our school gates to be environmental heros and pick up rubbish in our local area for Clean Up Australia Day. The short walk allowed the children to understand different types of rubbish as we sorted recyclables from general waste, as well as observing and noticing the trees, flowers, trucks, cars and assortment of buildings and objects around us. #CleanUpAustralia #SetUpToCleanUp #nature #environmentallyfriendly #preschool #noplastic #learningaboutnature #observingnature #cleanup #australiasfuture #noticingnature

09.01.2022 We are taking part in the Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal. The Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal is Australia and New Zealands largest and longest running gift collection Appeal. Kmart and the Salvation Army are coming together to help support those in need. With 3 million Australians living under the poverty line, Christmas can be a stressful time. You can help by donating a gift at our Wishing Tree in the foyer by 24th December. Thank you!

09.01.2022 We took part in an egg hatching program and loved every minute. The children learned all about ducks and chickens and how to best care for them. The children were involved in every stage. This lead to other literary experiences and learning about other life cycles. Not all of the chickens hatched so the children also had a thoughtful memorial . At the end of our two week program all of our chickens and ducks found loving homes!

Katie from @innerchildyoga.com.au explains Our classes may look a little different in the coming weeks and months but that doesn't mean that they're not going to be fun, engaging and educational. Our immediate focus in class is on reducing stress and anxiety and building resilience. We'll also be working the bodily systems that help relieve cough and colds and we'll be working with the lungs too.
