22.01.2022 International Mud Day aims to connect children around the globe through the earth, by playing in the mud! Its a day to celebrate nature, outdoors and mess by getting really muddy. Today we set up different experiences for the children to dig and play in, we even made mud paint. #internationalmudday #messyplay #muddy #learnandlaugh

16.01.2022 We’ve all had a blast today at our annual Australia Day ‘Beach’ party. The children have enjoyed water play, dressing up, dancing to a variety of Australian music, a picnic morning tea and sausage sizzle lunch. You can’t get any more Aussie than that! We are blessed to live in such a wonderful multicultural country where our children are able to grow up happy, safe and healthy. Aussie Aussie Aussie!!

14.01.2022 Every year as part of our holistic approach to school readiness, we take our graduating children on an excursion to our local primary school. We were able to tour the school, visiting the kindy classrooms where we saw many familiar faces. The children enjoyed using the new play equipment and were proud to show us the corn crop they had helped to plant during their early birds orientation program.

14.01.2022 **BRAG POST** Today was presentation day at our local school and we couldn’t help but notice an overwhelming number of familiar faces receiving awards. We want to celebrate our former Learn & Laugh children along with their families today and recognise their amazing achievements. A particular congratulations to the four new school captains!! 3 of whom are former Learn & Laugh babies!! We could not be prouder of all of you xo... 13.01.2022 Today at Learn & Laugh we had a visit from Ranger Shaun who spoke to us about some friendly and dangerous bugs! The children enjoyed getting hands on with millipedes, stick insects and caterpillars. We also learnt about spiders and ants through some fun dress up activities! #earlychildhoodeducation #handsonlearning #learningaboutnature

12.01.2022 Most definitely our favourite event of our year. Graduation evening at Learn & Laugh is a true celebration of our children and all of the important milestones they have reached during their time with us. We will miss our graduates, their families and their contributions that have helped to shape our little family

09.01.2022 Today we had the privilege of welcoming Rainbow Eagle to our centre to share his passion for the land with our children. The children learned that they have the power to become caretakers of the land through interactive storytelling with digeridoo music and puppets. In preparation for Rainbow Eagle’s visit, the children prepared damper which was later used to taste some delicious Kakadu plum jam. Afterwards, we headed outdoors to work together to plant our very own bush tucker garden. We can wait to share our harvest with our community in the future!

06.01.2022 Today our children enjoyed celebrating, discovering and experiencing the beginning of Chinese/Lunar New Year. Together they made spring rolls, tasted fortune cookies, created artworks and were mesmerised by some traditional Chinese music. We were lucky enough to have our chef Christine bring in her traditional dragon mask which the children enjoyed dancing with after watching a Dragon Dance! What a great way to celebrate culture and diversity! #yearofthepig #happylunarnewyear

04.01.2022 A great day to make paper planes Our Seniors have been really interested in flying paper planes around, especially on some of these windy days. Today we spent some time outside demonstrating how to make paper planes with some Seniors following the steps and making their own. #earlychildhood #educating #practicemakesperfect #learnandlaugh
