25.01.2022 This gave me a laugh. People merging is one of my pet hates too and something i go over and over with students on the correct way to do it. Also how hard is it to give a friendly wave ,haha

24.01.2022 How bizarre is the fog this week. My lovely student and I had a city and country drive today. Which started in fog and surprisingly by the time we reached the freeway it was blue skies and sunshine. It is supposed to be the other way around with foggy hills. I think my student was relieved it wasnt foggy in the hills. Haha.

24.01.2022 We want to help motorists find the cheapest petrol at any given time. Price changes will be reported in real-time and fed through to consumers via third party apps. Weve introduced legislation in parliament and will trial the scheme for 2 years to evaluate the benefits.

24.01.2022 What a place to do parallel parking. Look at the jacaranda trees. It always feels like christmas when it is snowing with jacaranda.

23.01.2022 We have a start date for driving lessons. JUNE 8TH. I will be in contact with all my current students to book lessons for then. My priority will be those who have completed their hours and past the 12 months, so those who are overdue to get their Ps. I will need to know when your available on the days i work which is Monday, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. In the mean time drive as much as you can. Thanks everyone.

23.01.2022 I have started the process of booking students in. It is kind of like a puzzle trying to fit everyone in at what times suit everyone best so i will get back to you within the next day or so with lesson times. All new students are on a waiting list until my current students are booked in and then i will book in the rest. I will be working a few thursdays during the day to fit more people in.

23.01.2022 Now more than ever there is a huge demand for female instructors. So if you are looking at changing careers think about becoming a driving instructor. Not as scary as you think. Statistically learners are the safest drivers on the road. Flexible hours to juggle kids etc. Work as little or as much as you want. Demand is high. Happy to answer any questions just message me. I will attach the link so you can read more https://www.sa.gov.au///motor-driving-instructor-s-licence

23.01.2022 Hazard Perception tests are recommencing. From 1 July 2020 learners permit holders will no longer be exempt from the requirement to pass a Hazard Perception Te...st. The following requirements must be met before a provisional drivers licence can be issued: Held a Learners Permit for the required minimum period of time (at least 12 months if you are under 25, at least 6 months if you are over 25); Completed the minimum of 75 hours of supervised driving; Passed Competency Based Training (CBT) or the Vehicle on Road Test (VORT); and Passed a Hazard Perception Test. Bookings for tests will be accepted from 1 June, however cannot be scheduled until 1 July. Bookings are essential, so please contact 13 10 84 to make a booking. Testing is limited as per the available space in each centre to ensure social distancing protocols can be followed with no more than one person per 4 square metres. Additional cleaning of equipment and adjacent areas will also take place. Your patience is appreciated while we work to return these tests in a safe manner. https://service.sa.gov.au/news?a=652486

23.01.2022 Yesterdays country drive was pouring with rain and todays fog was the worst i have seen for a while. But my awesome learners got us through safe and sound and great experience for them.

22.01.2022 Yesterday's country drive was pouring with rain and today's fog was the worst i have seen for a while. But my awesome learners got us through safe and sound and great experience for them.

22.01.2022 Hey everyone, it has been a crazy 2 weeks back at work doing driving lessons. Everyone wants to start lessons now. June and July are full and i only have a handful of spaces in August. So i wont be taking on any new students until September. Which feels like a life time away but it will be here before we know it. So if you would like lessons from September onwards let me know asap. It is first in, first served. I know i say it all the time but i am so very thankful for all the support and my students recommemdations. In the 17 years I have been doing this i have never had to advertise it is all word of mouth. My family and I thank you.

21.01.2022 So if you see my car around you may notice a bit of a bruise on the back. Today i got rear ended . I am grateful i was the only one in the car and that no one is hurt. The other driver was very apologetic and said he accidentally hit the accelerator. We were both stopped at the lights. Also grateful i can still teach. As only the boot was damaged. So i am using this as another opportunity to teach. I have attached a link which explains the steps on what to do in the event of an accident. Luckily i kept a safe distance from the car in front, which means when i was pushed from behind i didnt run into the car in front. Make sure you can always see the tyres of the car in front of you when stationery. Drive safe and make sure you are always paying attention.

21.01.2022 Hi, i hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. At this stage i am not taking on any new students. Probably will start again around early Feb. Sorry i am overwhelming busy at the moment. Which is great and i thank everyone for their recommendations but need to make sure i dont let down my current students.

21.01.2022 Slightly confusing on the freeway today. What speed would you go?

20.01.2022 A really good read for parents. I am sure all can relate.

20.01.2022 Unfortunately my afternoon lessons are already fairly full for term 1 of next year. So will only be taking on new students who are available during the day. I know a lot of you won't know your timetable till next year but i can put you on my call back list and as it gets closer to term 1, i will message you and see if you are available in free lessons. I will be also working a half day on thurs 9am-2.30pm from term 1. Thanks for all reccomendations to my driving school.

19.01.2022 Woo hoo! We cant wait to get back into the swing of things on June 8th!

19.01.2022 Driving lessons are set to start again on June 8th. However if the cases of Covid-19 start to rise that could be delayed. So please keep following the social distancing rules and hygiene so we can get back to it asap. Will start contacting student this week.

18.01.2022 Hey everyone, it looks like restrictions have been brought forward a few days to June 5th. How ever i will not be changing lessons. I have spent 3 days booking over 160 lessons in for my students so dont want to have to go through them all again. Also i am looking forward to the long weekend with my kids. Thanks for your understanding.

18.01.2022 This is the second instructor to be charged in a week. I am disgusted by this. This is not acceptable. If anyone you know has been in this situation they must report it and get these creeps off the road. I also want to say there are lots of great male instructors but go with one that has been recommended to you not just someone you have googled.

18.01.2022 If you were wondering what the keys 2drive lesson is all about this will explain it for you.

17.01.2022 Hi everyone. If you are a current student of mine and haven't booked lessons for term 1, contact me asap so we can book before i take on new students. Thanks so much.

17.01.2022 , Due to COVID-19 social distancing requirements, the number of customers that can take Le...arners Theory tests, Recreational Boat Licence tests and Hazard Perception tests (HPT) at a given time is restricted based on the available space in each Service SA customer service centre. Booking time availability has been increased to the maximum number of times possible, however customers are advised that there are delays of at least six weeks to make a booking in most metropolitan centres. It is important to note that a HPT can be booked and undertaken at any time while on a Learners permit. Driving hours or a practical driving test do not need to be completed before undertaking a HPT. Customers are encouraged to book their HPT as early as possible. We thank customers for their patience.

16.01.2022 It has been a busy week with 7 students passing their final drives this week. Congratulations. Drive safe and thank you for choosing me to be your driving instructor. It has been a pleasure to teach you all.

15.01.2022 I think i have contacted everyone, if you havent heard from me or confirmed when you are available let me know asap. June is almost full. Also we have been told by DPTI that if cases of Covid-19 spike we will be placed under restriction. So stay safe and follow the restrcitions.

14.01.2022 Hope everyone is enjoying the school holidays. Getting some wet weather practice and night hours up. So the phone has been going crazy. At this stage i wont be taking any new students on until November. Next year i will be more flexible with both my boys at school. This year i am enjoying the last of the one on one days with my youngest boy. Making memories and enjoying all the cuddles and fun before he becomes a big school boy. I know everyone will understand. Thank you,... thank you, thank you for the continued support. Remember if you are looking for an instructor ask friends for recommendations. Dont just google as you might end up with a bad instructor. November will come around fast so let me know if you want to start then See more

14.01.2022 January is full now. So taking new students from Feb. If you are looking at starting from Feb contact me asap. Thanks

14.01.2022 Some helpful hints

12.01.2022 Most school zones are 25kph whenever children who are 18 years or under are present. The police were at my sons school this morning issuing warnings for those parking illegally or speeding.

11.01.2022 This page is in every students logbook. It has a list of complaints and the appropriate people to contact. If any of my students are not happy, let me know. I really do try to do the right thing but always happy to hear feedback.

11.01.2022 Congratulations to the 15 people who did their final drive with me this month and passed. I think that is the most i have passed in a month ever. No wonder i am bit tired lately, haha. So well done to all those students. Drive safe and take care.

11.01.2022 So im sure everyone has heard that we are in lockdown for the 6 days. I will contact my students tomorrow to reschedule. Keep safe and hopefully we will be back to normal by Christmas

11.01.2022 Woo hoo! We can't wait to get back into the swing of things on June 8th!

10.01.2022 Hazard Perception Test will resume from 1st of July.

09.01.2022 Well it has been a busy 2 days booking everyone in. I will not be taking any NEW students until week one next term so from 20th July. So get in quick if you want to start then. If you would like to start sooner i can always recommend an instructor in your area. Thanks for all the continued support. Jacqui

09.01.2022 In preparation for lessons to start again i have a Covid -Safe action plan. I will be doing the following to ensure my students and myself are at a lower risk of getting sick. 1. I will wipe down surfaces of the car with disinfectant wipes between each student. 2. I will provide hand sanitiser in the car. 3. I will keep attendance records of all students. 4. I will message students the night before their lessons to confirm they are well and healthy. ... 5. If in the case i am not well and showing symptoms of Covid-19 i will cancel lessons until a Covid-19 test has come back with a negative result. 6. I will keep a copy of my action plan in the car for anyone to see. 7. I have downloaded the COVID safe app and encourage others to do so too Please let me know if you have any questions. I look forward to seeing you all again. It has been a crazy start to 2020 but lets hope for a more positive end to it.

08.01.2022 The car has had a good clean and we are ready to go. Look forward to seeing everybody soon.

07.01.2022 In 2019/20, South Australia Police received more than 2,200 Traffic Watch complaints, including almost 1,800 via the Marshall Liberal Government’s new Traffic W...atch app. Make sure you download the Traffic Watch app today to immediately report hoon driving to SAPOL and help keep our streets safe. Download here www.police.sa.gov.au/online-services/traffic-watch2

07.01.2022 The Marshall Liberal Government will not tolerate hoon driving and reckless behaviour on our roads. Dangerous road users beware - choose to be an idiot behind the wheel and your car could be crushed to pieces.

06.01.2022 Check out my student nailing a parallel park today. We always teach and assess between poles but if i can find a quiet place to practice between cars we will do it so the student can see how easy it is.

05.01.2022 Although most of the industry are in it for the right reasons, you will always get those who are not. Happens in every industry not just driving instructing. If you know of someone who has had a bad experience it is so important they report the instructor. As mentioned in this news piece, DPTI are looking at overhauling the industry. It will include a working with children check and different ways to assess students to lessen the risk of corruption. As someone who prides themselves on doing the right thing i look forward to these changes. P.S I already have a working with children clearance certificate

03.01.2022 To all my wonderful students and their families. Please have a safe and fun Christmas. It has been a crazy year. Hoping next year is a better one for all. 03.01.2022 Well after a busy week of calls i have decided not to take on any new students until the new year. Thanks for all the support and recommendations.

02.01.2022 If you or anyone you know is about to get their licence make sure they have booked in the Hazard Perception Test. At the moment there is about a one month wait for available times. Please feel free to share or tag to spread the word.

02.01.2022 Happy New Year eveyone. I won't be taking on any new students until at least mid feb. There is a huge demand for instructors at the moment. With quite a few instructors retiring due to covid. Also a few years ago they stopped training new instructors, so there is a huge shortage of instructors. Plenty of students still wanting to learn though. So plan and book your lessons ahead. If you ever thought about becoming a driving instructor, now is the time. Happy to answer any questions about the industry.

01.01.2022 Hope everyone is keeping safe and warm and getting plenty of wet weather experience while you can. Also hope everyone is getting their night hours completed while it is still getting dark early. Wont be long and summer will be here and the hours will be harder to get. Speaking of summer i have limited spots left for this year. So if you are looking at booking lessons let me know asap.

01.01.2022 In light of this new cluster of Covid in SA i would like to remind students if you are unwell please cancel your lesson and get tested. Also i have since the start of covid and will continue to wipe the surfaces with antibacterial wipes after every student. There is hand sanitiser in the car too. Keep safe everyone
