21.01.2022 Here is the comment from a driver that witnessed the accident.... "I was behind this caravan and we were both overtaking the semi truck. The caravan got the speed wobbles as they were overtaking the semi, as they cleared through the semi the caravans wobbles got worse and it flipped. There was alot of wind on the road and I'm sure the wind passing through the semi didn't help them plus speed. Everyone was fine including the caravan owners. They will be learning the hardest lesson of what speed they were traveling, we should give them a break. As the semi and myself had to act fast and quick to stop safely, I'm not mad at them so nobody else should be. I'm glad they are okay and no one was injured. "

Peter and Sue are hiring a van to take up to North QLD and they wanted some tips and to get a bit of an understanding of caravanning before they go. The trip is to see if they like the caravan lifestyle before spending the big bucks on a setup. Make sure you get a set of good quality towing mirrors , its a legal requirement.
