04.01.2022 Book recommendation I’ve been slowly making my way through #thewholebrainchild by Dan Siegel and Tina Bryson. This book offers easy to understand theory on brain development and practical strategies you can apply to help your child’s emotional development. If you’ve read it I’d love to hear your thoughts

04.01.2022 Today was a fun session with one of my long term clients. We worked on lots of goals using a travel sized connect 4 game We addressed: Fine motor skills - picking up/manipulating the tokens and handwriting practice while keeping score.... Cognitive skills- attention, listening, turn taking, problem solving, planning and learning/following rules. Finally, we used the wonderful @myburrow_official to help regulate the body and stay calm throughout the session.
