You can improve your learning along the way at any time by observing other people’s hands as often as possible. Pay attention to the people you know and the people you see when you are out and about. Do their hands match their career choice? Do the hands of the folks you know show the qualities that you already recognize? What shape is the hand? Does it ...appear balanced, fingers versus the palm? What shape and size are the fingers? Are the fingers evenly set? Any curved fingers? What are the strongest mounts? What are the weakest mounts? Look at the Skin texture, is it soft or coarse? Is the hand consistency firm, average or flabby? Is the thumb thick, thin, long or short? How is the thumb set; low, medium or high? Which major line is the most prominent? Are any of the lines broken? Are there any unusual markings on the palms? Consider the minor lines and skin ridges.
