15.01.2022 As part of learning about plants in Science, the students of M3 planted the school vegie garden. Students took a keen interest in gardening; from harvesting seeds out of their pods and husks, they then planted the seeds and regularly watered and tended the garden this term. The students planted seeds for lettuces, parsley, spring onions, celery, tomatoes, beans, coriander and basil. It was with much excitement that the lettuces were picked on Tuesday and each student was able to take one home to share with their family. Students will continue to care for the garden and have developed a great understanding of the lifecycle of plants and where our food comes from. (Thank you for sharing a picture of your delicious salad Sophie )
