This is a sign of emotional and cognitive growth. It is also a sign that they are secure enough in their relationship with you, that they know you will always welcome them back with open arms. With Lauren for example on weekends she wants nothing to do with me, she only wants her Dad and during the week she clings to me like g...lue and ignores everyone else. Just know this phase does pass and your kids do learn and grow out of it.... until the teenage years

24.01.2022 You know whats worse then a sick kid? TWO sick kids! Both girls have tonsilitis which means both arent sleeping well, both are sooky and clingy and not willing to share me between eachother and they are being extra fussy with food... even Lauren! 20.01.2022 Meet my girls, their names are Georgia and Lauren but they often go by Ge-Lauren or La-Georgia or they will have a name swap or they can sometimes even have the pets names in there so Mocha-Holly-La-Georgia Im thinking it could be a genetic condition, to muddle their names up, because my Mum does it all the time! Mamas do you have a serious case of name-mixitis? Surely theres a cure?!?!

17.01.2022 My Mum kept a box of special outfits from when I was little and gave them to me when I was older. Now that Ive got two girls I can dress them in my old clothes! May 2020 be one amazing year filled with a lot more ups then downs I cannot wait to see what this new decade holds for us ... Do you have a new years resolution? 16.01.2022 SIBLING LOVE Do you find one of your kids more loving and affectionate towards their sibling, then the other? We are really starting to see that dynamic with our two girls. Lauren loves giving Georgia cuddles A LOT and Georgia hates it! That isnt to say Georgia doesnt love her sister, she just shows it in a different way, like sharing food with her or giving her toys to play with. It really is interesting to watch how truly different the two of them are. ... Can you see how your little ones choose to show love?

12.01.2022 Weve entered into a new world The world of WHYs Whilst I really love Georgia being so inquisitive, answering all the why questions sure is a task! Why are you driving mummy?... Why is it dinner time? Why are you wrapping up a tissue box like a present for? (Btw this was me trying to get Christmas photos of the girls holding presents, but I canned that idea once Lauren started picking up weapons )

11.01.2022 The past few weeks our little family have had an annoying lingering cough that just doesnt want to disappear. Luckily the girls havent had it to bad but I thought it would be fantastic to try out the Little Coughs raspberry syrup and it has been working a treat! Georgia loves the taste of it while Lauren needs a little convincing but otherwise it has helped them sleep through the night! 11.01.2022 ACTIVITY WEEK #3 BABY BOWLING! I must admit I had a lot of fun making these little guys and Lauren loves knocking them over just as much! HOW TO MAKE THE PINS: 1. decorate toilet rolls however you like, just make them fun! I choose to give them funny faces with pipe cleaner arms. ... 2. Set them up and show your little ones how to try knock them over using a ball. (Btw I am aware this looks like beer pong ) Try using other things for the pins like clear plastic milk bottles filled with fun colourful things like pom poms, leaves, flowers e.t.c. @ Perth, Western Australia
10.01.2022 So I did a super random thing last night and went to the @misskyreeloves Adore Christmas party all by myself! I had a great time dressing up and met some beautiful people! Im glad I got out of my comfort zone and went.

09.01.2022 ACTIVITY WEEK #5 The last activity Ill be sharing for this week! Have you enjoyed this little series? SENSORY TABLE! There are heaps of different ideas for sensory tables online and Ive done several different ones with the girls but here is todays one! 1. Put a big scoop of hair gel into a zip lock bag & some food colouring. Seal and rub together to mix. 2. Fill 1/4 of a new zip lock bag with water and a little food colouring, seal making sure there isnt air in ther...e. 3. Put a big scoop of hair gel into another zip lock bag & some pom poms & seal. 4. Fill 1/4 of a new zip lock bag with water & add beads. Seal, making sure there is no air in there. 5. Tape all 4 bags to a flat surface & let your kids feel the different textures! @ Perth, Western Australia See more

08.01.2022 #review Ive used Bepanthen on both the girls since they we born and it works wonders on their cute little tooshies! Both girls seem to have quite sensitive skin and this cream has always helped. The 100g size is great to keep at home and the 30g size is perfect in your nappy bag. The girls usually come home from day care with nappy rash from the wipes they use, so at night I put a thick layer of Bepanthen on their skin and in the morning the rash is all gone! 04.01.2022 P R E S S U R E As Mums there is a ridiculous amount of pressure that we can experience. We mostly put the pressure on ourselves but you can also experience it from other people too. For example make sure you: -feed your kids certain foods ... -word things like this, not like that -dont let them have to much screen time -dress them a certain way -make sure you read a butt ton of books -do play based learning -discipline them in a particular way -dont forget your self care! There is SO much advise and parenting tips out there, that once youve read most of them you start to feel like youre failing as a parent & that your kids are going to end up like a highly strung, homeless dressing adult who cant look after themselves! I definitely feel like this a lot of the time! But Ive decided yes I will keep seeking help and advise but Ill take in what I think is important to my family and not let the rest get me down! I hope you can do the same Mamas

02.01.2022 Did you know the bee population is rapidly declining & without bees we wouldnt have very much food to eat AT ALL! They keep all of our crops and plants alive which we eat! According to Einstein, if bees disappeared off the face of the earth, wed have 4 years to live #mindblown so next time you see a bee struggling to get out of your pool or bird bath, help her out! Georgias beautiful bee shirt is from @tinygypsytshirts the martial is amazing & the sizing is true to size, I always have to buy bigger sizes for Georgia but could have gotten her proper size. 02.01.2022 I was lucky enough to trial @readingeggs with Georgia She has been absolutely loving using this educational program. It is fun, colourful and she is learning along the way without even knowing it. In the couple weeks weve been using it she has already started recognizing letters in day to day life. If you are looking for a new educational tool for your kids I highly recommend you check it out, it has been designed for kids between 2 through to 13! Although I think Georgia is at the perfect age (3) to start using it as she is so keen to learn at the moment. Have you tried readingeggs before? @ Perth, Western Australia
01.01.2022 Are you like me and absolutely refuse to cut your kids hair? Why are we so attached to our kids hair for? -Is it because it could make them look more grown up? -Or are we envious of their luscious locks? -Could it be we are nervous as to how they will go having it cut? ... Who knows!? all I know is Georgia is going to be freakin Rapunzel before I even consider cutting it and I have no reason why! See more
