25.01.2022 Our last Sunday course for 2012 starts tomorrow with a full compliment. It's anyone's guess what the weather will be like tomorrow, but if we are to believe 3 out of 4 Brisbane weather sources it should be a great day!



25.01.2022 Finished a learn to sail course but not sure what to do next? Join our Dolphins program Sunday mornings 9am to 11:30am. For $5 (around the same price as a morning coffee), come for a play and get some tips from seasoned sailors. If you need a boat you can borrow one from the club for another 5 clams.... So what are you waiting for? Rock up this Sunday!

22.01.2022 DPSS Congratulates Citipointe Christian College on starting their learn to sail course today. They'll be here for the next 12 weeks as part of their Wednesday afternoon school sport program. We welcome all students and staff and hope they enjoy their time with the club.

15.01.2022 Our final day of our learn to sail was met with beautiful easterly breezes and balmy moderate temperatures. Ironically, our instructors learned the most important practical lesson today... In theory the answer to this problem is simple: What happens when you leave the bungs out of your boat, launch it, and then walk away for half an hour?

08.01.2022 Day 1 of the Manly Boat-show saw around 60/70 people people try sailing in the DPSS Vagabond and Ozi-opti's. Thanks to our instructors and club members who volunteered their time for us on the water and in the DPSS stand. If you missed out today, you still have a chance tomorrow. Just look for the sailing boats!

04.01.2022 I'm going to take it as a compliment that we had several kids upset by the decision to cancel sailing last Sunday. I'm also going to direct all negative comments regarding this decision to Huey.
