22.01.2022 Just a quick update to advise all our lovely customers that the Leather Doctor CQ is still operating with full Covid safety procedures in place. Our techs are gloved, fully sanitised and we are happy for customers to be in another room, while we attend to the furniture.

21.01.2022 Congratulations to our master franchise for a well deserved placement in the annual FCA awards. Placing in the top 6 from the many thousands of franchises within Australia is a fantastic achievement.

19.01.2022 We love this little explainer from The Leather Doctor Hills, Hawkesbury & Penrith...! Sweat and body oils can do some MAJOR damage to your lounge, so being vigi...lant and keeping it clean will pay dividends in the long run... Fun fact - we complete more Leather Panel Replacements on dark coloured lounges than we do light! Why do you think that is? The answer is simple, its harder to see dirt on a dark lounge! With white, cream and light coloured lounges, it is easy to see when they are dirty and as such generally they are cleaned more regularly than dark coloured lounges. But what happens when we don't clean our lounges regularly? Body oils and dirt start to break down the protective top coat, once the top coat is gone this paves the way for the leather to deteriorate eventually leading to colour wearing away, cracks and tears in the leather. These photos show what body oil damage can look like at the front of the leather compared to the back, as you can see while the damage is visible on the leather the perspiration damage on the back of the hide is far more significant. The only way to ensure your leather isn't holding oils that you aren't yet aware of is to get your leather lounge cleaned regularly, we recommend at least every 12 months.

19.01.2022 Happy Australia Day...
