25.01.2022 Starting one of my Pan masks to begin the week. Cut, tooled and dyed, it’s now ready for shaping.
24.01.2022 I received this wonderful feedback from a customer recently for this custom Doc Copper plague mask. It's great when you hear the time and energy you put into a piece is appreciated. "Just amazing. I can't emphasize enough the amount of work and craftsmanship put into this mask, and I love it so much! Alex was awesome to work with and incredibly communicative, and I'll happily work with him in the future if I ever get the chance. If you've been looking for a place doctor mask...this is the one, go for it, trust me!"
24.01.2022 Coming to a nightmare near you.... My take on the Alien Facehugger mask using the awesome pattern from LeatherHub. Each piece was cut, tooled and dyed by hand before the whole thing was hand stitched. A painstaking process but worth the effort I think. #leather #leathermask #facehuggermask #facehugger #alienmask #leathercraft #leatherart #leatherheds #leatherhub #australianmade LeatherHub
23.01.2022 New week, new build. I came across this helmet and thought it would make a good base for a new project. First thing is to strip it down and then mark our new panels that I’ll make out of leather and stitch together.
23.01.2022 A pair of latchet style shoes I made around this time last year....

16.01.2022 A great big thank you to all of my customers around the world. Your support is very much appreciated and a ray of light in what’s otherwise been a pretty bleak year.
15.01.2022 I’ve been busy working on custom orders recently including this mask inspired by the Manga animation Nausicca.
15.01.2022 Baron Von Redwing has landed! The latest steampunk mask is finished and in the showroom. In the style of our classic plague doctor I spent a bit of time 'distre...ssing' the leather prior to making the mask. The extra creases and marks along with the antique finishes really give this one a beautifully aged feel. I also went for a rich red dye with black hand stitching and black rivets. Incorporating resin copper coloured welder style goggles and a fully adjustable head strap. See more

01.01.2022 A nod to all the makers out there at this time of year.... Here it is, that time of year When makers all get busy. Creating things you like to give ... To others over Chrissy. But spare a thought for these modern elves as they toil into the night. With squinty eyes and worn out hands they work in failing light. To make the deadline, get it packed And then sent on it’s way, So it arrives in time for you to make somebody’s day. See more
