20.01.2022 Well Folks! another Terrific Abbey Festival has bit the dust....what an event! As always tons of fun but accompanied with lotsa effort! Enjoyed having East Coast Leather there to share the ride....met some wonderful customers, made lotsa belts, sold some leather work, shared the event with some truly cheeky and great fun reenactors and caught up with some fellow stall holders (whom I don't get to see often enough!). Howdy to the Morris Dancers and all the other entertainers......boy! you folk make it all look so easy and soooo much fun...even Prima Spada trying to pierce an opponent is edge of seat stuff! All in All a great show! If you didn't make it this year....try to make it next year...you can't go past it for sheer fun and enjoyment! A very special shout out to Lynda Nimmo for all her hard work and effort as Stall Coordinator Extraordinaire AND all Abbey Museum Senior Staff, administration and volunteers for, yet, another memorable event. I was too busy to take photos, but I am assured that there will be many posted over the coming weeks... After I rest my knees, back, ankles, head.....I will ponder the next Abbey event for 2020 (with any luck, I may be invited back again)....oh, and if any of the Abbey regulars have any suggestions for leather product, I would love to hear from you....I am here to serve...Take Care everyone...and keep a look out for further training courses and such, from me, in the coming months! 16.01.2022 Greetings Fellow leather lubbers! I have finally returned from my lengthy sojourn visiting Family and Friends in the ol' US of A! I have returned with a renwed appreciation of all things OZ in addition to a whopping head cold which I do not seem able to "shake" at the moment. This has been further complicated by a tummy bug picked up in last 24-36 hours, taking the simple acts of coughing and sneezing to a whole different level (if you get my drift) This means, unfortuanately..., That I will not be undertaking much leatherwork in next few days, until I see my favourite GP to see if she can help carbosh these little annoyances on the head....So, If you are desperate, there may be someone out there to help....for my customers who have been awaiting my return....please be patient, you will be rewarded I promise.....aside from all that ....glad to back down underneath where pretty much people say what they mean and mean what they say!
