25.01.2022 The view from the most Northern point of Israel at Rosh Hanikra. Right on the border with Lebannon. The waters of the Meditteranean are so blue and beautiful as is this coastline. The white chalk cliffs of the grottos is a geological formation with caves to explore and the cable car ride to the top is said to be one of the steepest in the world. Was great to see.

25.01.2022 Hey friends, Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for following my page and hopefully enjoying my photos. Did you know I also post photos to instagram. go to www.instagram.com and search for leaunwinphotography. You might see something different. :) I would have put the whole link in this post, but it shows you my profile pic HUGE and no one wants to see that. LOL

24.01.2022 Went for a walk around Crusoe reservoir today to see what I could see and for my daily "exercise outing", which actually doesn't happen every day, anyway came across this little fellow in a tree. I am hoping someone can help me with what sort of bird he is. Was a nice day for a walk. :)

23.01.2022 Lyn Taylor and I went on a long walk to the old town of Joppa to visit Simon the Tanners house, and yes we found it I have photographic proof, when on the way back you come round a bend and get this magnificent view of Tel Aviv along the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Israel, I cant wait to visit you again. :)

23.01.2022 Went to a friends house the other night and took a photo under the stars.

21.01.2022 Went to Colbinabbin today to see some Silo Art. How impressive.

20.01.2022 This little Crested pigeon sat on a rock and said "take my photo", so I did.

20.01.2022 There is a crow that lives near by and comes to the backyard every morning for a piece of bread and other left over duck food. He doesn't hang around too close when we go outside, but he is slowly getting used to us. He was out watching me the other afternoon just before sunset and decided to do a fly by to see if I had any food on hand, which I didn't, but I did manage to get an "in flight" shot. Happy to have been able to take a photo of him.

15.01.2022 Went for a walk this afternoon after work, before it started raining around one of our many lakes and came across this beauty. According to my bird book this is a female Australasian Darter. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong. Isn't she beautiful.

15.01.2022 When you are standing behind some trees and the sun is opposite you, you get shadows from and silhouettes of what you are trying to photograph. Sometimes it works out perfectly and you get an amazing image of a bird in perfect silhouette. Not what I planned, but I'll take it. Have to be lucky sometimes. :)

15.01.2022 Crusoe Reservoir on a sunny spring Saturday stroll. Due to our "exercise outings" there was actually a lot of people doing laps, walking and on bikes, but they all disappeared at the right time for me to take the photo. Nice. !! :) #crusoereservoir

13.01.2022 One from a few months ago. This old windmill is in one of the sheep's paddocks just down the road. This particular afternoon, just before sunset, I was out photographing a spectacular summer storm heading my way. Then very quickly it got very dark and gloomy to the East as the thunder clouds rolled in and lightning started to strike, while the West behind me was showing a gorgeous red and orange summer sunset. Probably not a great idea to stand out in a lightning storm heading right for you, but the colours of sunset behind me colliding with the dark blues in the storm was creating the most beautiful colours on every side and the bonus of a lightning strike, small but a strike none the less. Such a spectacular colourful evening.

13.01.2022 Just a little Blue Wren hanging out with his mates at the reservoir the other day. Such little cuties.

12.01.2022 Introducing Prince Carrick Fergus, or if you prefer Ricky for short. He doesnt let me take many photos of him, Probably because he has always got his head in the trough. Might have to get him a treadmill. He's very cuddly though. :)

09.01.2022 Ok, so here is the view the other way to the Old Town of Joppa mentioned in the previous post. In case you were wondering. Oh and these were both taken on my iphone.

06.01.2022 A good old Aussie bush scene. The windmill, the tank, a full dam and a beautiful reflection of some gum trees on a perfect sunny spring day. :)

05.01.2022 Red Wattle Bird. I think he came in close to see what I was doing and probably to see if I had any food.

05.01.2022 A couple of Kookaburras landed on the electricity pole at our place. I hear them, but don't see them too often, so glad to get a shot of them. :)

04.01.2022 Tonight the International Space Station went across the sky from South West to North and the Milky Way was just near by in the south. It goes by so fast and for some reason I really like watching it traverse our skies.

03.01.2022 Can you see her? A female red rumped parrot or grass parrot. They are so hard to see in the grass. She is quite beautiful and has a lot of colour in those feathers. But they are so camouflaged in the grass and can be very hard to find to photograph, so very glad I was able to get some photos of this stunning bird.

03.01.2022 Have you ever looked really closely at a Lavender flower? The flower is actually a bunch of little flowers. Tiny little flowers all put together to make a flower spike. Love lavender. This is a white lavender we have in a pot at home. Its very pretty.

02.01.2022 Trying my hand at macro photography. Hmm its interesting and fun. and now i'm addicted. :)

01.01.2022 This is a white faced heron. He was flying back and forth to the water and the scrub and then up into the trees. What was he doing? He was taking sticks and things up to his mate, who was high up in one of the trees building a nest. I am expecting to go back and see little herons running around. That would be awesome :)
