25.01.2022 Dubai World Para Athletics Championships 2019. I have set up and Instagram page as well given that not everyone has Facebook. I have linked the two pages.

24.01.2022 Unfortunately wet weather is setting in so training is cancelled tonight.

21.01.2022 Will need to cancel training this morning due to weather.

18.01.2022 Due to rain and predictions of severe storms training is cancelled for tonight’s session at MBC

18.01.2022 Training is cancelled this afternoon as the track surface is too wet.

16.01.2022 I have created this page as a more effective method of getting information to squad members. This will include COVID restrictions, session time and venue changes, session cancellation etc. I will also include training advice and recommendations. Please share to those in the squad or those you think may need to know.

13.01.2022 An update on the latest progression with a return to Squad training. I have been able to secure a return to Squad training on Tuesday 2/6/20 at MBC. Unfortunately nothing is simple these days. Currently the College is a secure site. This means that only MBC and MBBC students that are members of the squad can participate. Any non-MBC squad members are still excluded. I believe that this will be reviewed 10/6/20 and will advise of any changes. I will also be looking to run h...ill sessions at Minnippi Parklands on a Sunday morning at 8am commencing from 7/6/20. I dont believe that QSAC will reopen for public training in the near future as even QAS athletes have no current access. So at least we can get everyone together once per week. Keep your eye out for updates. I will continue to work on the situation but it is hard going. The best we can do is maintain fitness with a view to a return to full training within the next month.

12.01.2022 Today it was announced that community sport will recomence tomorrow. Groups of 20 allowed to train. This will obviously see some changes flow through during the week. The current situation is that squad training will start up Tuesday 2 June for MBC and MBBC students only. Athletes are to arrive ready to train. No congregating before training please social distance. Parents are not allowed to enter the college grounds so must either sit in their car or drop off and pick up. Please arrive by 6.15pm to pick up athletes and remain in car. If athletes are unwell they are not to attend training. Hopefully things will start to open up during the week.

03.01.2022 I have been advised today that full squad training can recommence. So from Tuesday 9th June all athletes can return. Note training will be Tuesday and Thursday at 5pm to 6:30. Athletes are to arrive ready to train as change rooms arent available. Only athletes are allowed in the facility, parents must drop off and pick up or wait in their car. We must avoid congregating in groups. Social distancing applies at all times. Athletes must leave the facility straight after training concluding so I would ask parents to arrive for pick up by 6:15.
