21.01.2022 I received an update on Leawarra Black Pearl and Leawarra Cosmo from their new owner Lauren Woodbridge to show me how beautifully they have blossomed as gorgeous 2 year olds. Both from clydie x mares and by Hollingrove Dante. If anyone is wondering about Cosmo's gorgeous milk chocolate colour he is actually a smoky black!

19.01.2022 It was such a pleasure to be able to watch two Leawarra horses at riding club today. Both looking so lovely and beautifully ridden by Michelle Philpotts. Firstly Flicker in a flat lesson and then young Bell learning to jump. Both behaved impeccably and we are particularly pleased with how calmly Bell is working in the lessons amongst other horses and also staying tied up at the float on her own. I can't seem to post more than one video at a time so here is Bell. Flicker will be in the next post

13.01.2022 Time to post some recent photos of Dante's progeny! This is Leawarra Durante, aka 'Snip. He's just turned two this month and boy, has he still got a lot of growing to do! He's looking very gangly at the moment but I'm liking the way his body is shaping up and he's showing quality movement. His mother is Hollingrove Roxanna, 17.2hh, by Royal Hit.

13.01.2022 Today I said a sad farewell to two of my beautiful Leawarra babies, Pearl and Cosmo. Both headed off to their new home with Lauren Woodbridge from Black Pearl Horses in Gunning, NSW. I couldn't ask for a better home! Lauren is a professional trainer and plans to consolidate their handling before starting them under saddle at 3yo. She has big plans for them and I will be proudly following their journey with her!

13.01.2022 This is Leawarra Debutante, aka 'Betty'. She is HG Dante's first foal bred by me and his oldest progeny at 3yo. Her mother is GT Ardour...a beautiful, big boned wb mare by Argentinus. Betty was unfortunately orphaned at birth and I hand raised her with the help of a nanny mare. So she's very special to us...now owned by Michelle Philpotts...so is staying in the family! Can't wait to see her going under saddle. She's sure to be a champion under Michelle's expert guidance!

10.01.2022 It's so great to have news of Leawarra horses doing so well with their wonderful owners! This is Leawarra Grace. My friends may remember me riding her at riding club. She was such a fun horse to ride...still is! Caitlin Woods is loving her now! "To say I’m shocked is a bloody dam understatement after our first ever HOrse Trials pony club addition we rode a clean dressage test with a whopping 90%, clear in SJ and flogged the XC course like she was faster than Usain Bolt... (probably was) then we placed 1st over all! A massive thank you to all who can to support all of our riders and a massive congratulations to Emily, Georgina and Charlize you three did a amazing job on the weekend! A special Thank you to Melissa Woods Frewen for putting up with me and taking photos and a special thank you to Renee Pedretti and Jen Mainland for all of your lessons, pep talks and the cheering from across the cross country course I couldn’t have done it without you both!"

07.01.2022 Lovely lady, Poss, enjoying a rug free day today. There's a beautiful baby in that big tummy! Due in 6 weeks. She's looking very well. My only foal this year but I'm so excited!

05.01.2022 It was so good to be able to go and watch Michelle giving Bell a little training session today. It's early days yet but she is progressing really well and showing a lot of talent for an exciting future. Our beautiful buckskin girl

05.01.2022 Three beautiful young boys at Leawarra. Cosmo and Zuma are good buddies, and the big goofy bay is Snip. Cosmo and Snip are progeny of HG Dante and are available for purchase. Cosmo is a smoky black yearling out of a crossbred mare and should mature to about 15.3hh. Snip is performance bred, out of a wb mare by Royal Hit and should mature about 16.3hh. Great movement and will suit the competitive rider. Both horses reasonably priced. Serious enquiries only please. PM for further info

04.01.2022 Introducing Leawarra Legend! A beautiful big colt out of arabian wb mare Buckwell Park Possibility, by Hollingrove Dante. He'll be black I think, with just enough bling. Looks a lot like his dad! He's a very bold and inquisitive chap, already loving scratches and smooches from anyone that comes near!

03.01.2022 A little update on Leo. Almost 8 weeks old now and he's growing like a weed! Doing really well. LOVES people! Loves to be rubbed all over. Am picking up all his legs and putting his headcollar on no worries! He's a very confident little man
