14.01.2022 I'm reposting from my girl Caz as I think this is highly important. I myself have been sending boxes of joy out via my business @le_beurre_ since March. I use m...y profits and my own pay to send more wagon wheel packs out to people who've been stood down, are mentally struggling and in the last round women who had either recently given birth or are about to as I know how much fear they would be harbouring. To my friends and family, I have been picking new ones every pay week to suprise with a gift delivered to their door. This includes restaurants who are delivering prep at home meals to create a lovely date night & cakes. I've sent uber eats dinners to friends who are unwell and living alone. I am doing all i can to help spark as much joy as i can throughout this rough time and most importantly letting ppl know I'M HERE FOR YOU. THE BEST BIT, I'm supporting Melbourne businesses as well! It starts with dopamine and a Chinese proverb that the internet gave me, that I haven't fact checked, so here's hoping it's legit If you want happiness for an hour, take a nap. If you want happiness for a day, go fishing. If you want happiness for a year, inherit a fortune. If you want happiness for a lifetime, help somebody. I like to give gifts. I'll accidentally overspend if it's the right one; I'll pop it on a doorstep and leave and I'll have an online order sent directly too. Giving gifts can fall into the dopamine reward system (along with the pokies, cocaine and social media). The reason I said that it MAY fall into the reward system is that if you give yourself a hernia choosing or freaking out whether they'll like it, it probably won't fill your dopamine cup. Today, you'll pick a pal/loved one and either spend five to fifteen (or more if you wanna) bucks on a little gift and have it sent to their house. Message their partner/housemate etc if you don't know their address. Be stealthy if you can. Happy online shopping. EDIT for the love of god, HOW could I forget the ridiculous wagon wheels that @eat_ting_every_ting/@lebeurre hand made and had sent to me . Jess is a real life angel.

11.01.2022 Duck, merlot & mushroom ravioli. Creamy mushroom sauce from @mariaspasta OMG it's freakin amazing! Good food makes me incredibly emotional and I was speechless till my last bite. I could literally drink that sauce if you want a dinner this luxurious in 5 minutes then go order from @mariaspasta you won't regret it! I promise

11.01.2022 A day of successful pie making I made my Mumma's chicken and leek pies with sour cream pastry. I then delivered a warm beautiful pie via @didiaustralia to my friends house in 15 min to suprise her with dinner sooo cool that we can deliver things like this to our loved ones. 09.01.2022 I ordered a COOKIE POSTCARD from @sweetbakes_ to send to my Mumma can we just admire @sweetbakes_ hand painted work!!! Like, is there anything this woman can't do? Our boys are the light of our lives and their Grandma, my Mumma misses them so much during lockdown. Thank you Alisha you bring so much joy to so many people!
