25.01.2022 We are now on Stumbleupon. Hopefully businesses that like technology and are looking for easy ways to cut cost will stumble upon us

23.01.2022 This week we produced the prototype of a colour changing tube that will be used in shop displays all around Australia.

23.01.2022 Its good to see the right advice on LED tubes being provided to chemists. Check out http://www.pharmacybusinessnetwork.com/sustainable-pharmac/. If youre in business it makes economic sense to change.

23.01.2022 We've been working on bringing new products to the Australian market...like this flexible tube light that can replace neon. Is there a bridge you'd like to light up? Its rubber but it glows bright like neon. Neon used to be expensive to buy and run. We're changing all that.

22.01.2022 Where we want to be.

21.01.2022 Im back today from a week in China. The Guangzhou lighting fair was as expected. A huge (in fact almost total) emphasis on LED technology. It was disappointing though to see the lack of SAA certified products. Australian lighting companies still need to obtain their own SAA certifications to introduce most new products.

20.01.2022 Beautiful tubes of light - part of our designer tube collection.

18.01.2022 Nothing is more important to us than safety. That is why we have obtained an SAA certificate for our tubes. The certificate independently verifies that our tubes have been made to Australian standards and are safe to use. I have posted a copy of our certificate below. When it comes to safety we like to wear belts and braces. Our tubes have an isolated driver that reduces voltage from 240V to less than 50V. This isnt required by Australian standards its just something we did because it increases the safety of our tube. ... and for the quality, we are still the most economical tube in Australia.

17.01.2022 Let us reduce the running costs of your business overnight!

17.01.2022 Our new high lumen tube produces 160lumens per watt! That is a lot of light. This compares to a market norm of 90 lumen per watt. Our 12W tube can replace a fluorescent tube using 36 watts plus another 6 watt in the ballast. This drops energy consumption for every tube in an installation from 42W down to 12W. Could your business or apartment block be saving in this way. Imagine the light our 25W high lumen tube can produce. Use one 25W LED tube where previously 2 fluorescent tubes consumed 84W.

16.01.2022 For consumers, finding a quality and inexpensive product is difficult. Once the manufacturers have paid for advertising or given a cut to a middleman for marketing, the product can be anything but inexpensive. That why we try to rely on word of mouth. Our bulbs are the best on the market. If we can get the word out there, theyll also stay the cheapest!

14.01.2022 LED lighting, that's the lights themselves not our company, LED Tube Lighting ;-) , has a nobel prize! This article is a pretty interesting read on some of the history.

13.01.2022 I have not been making much noise about my business, LED Tube Lighting, to my friends, but the time has come to "share" the details and hopefully you will see why I am quite excited. Here is the business concept: Home owners have been buying LED bulbs for their houses for some time. A 6w LED bulb can easily replace a 60w incandescent bulb leading to a 10 fold saving in electricity. Business (which more often use fluorescent tubes) have been not easily been able to switch t...o LED. My business manufactures a commercial quality tube that can replace the fluorescent tube. It reduces electricity usage by 50% and it virtually eliminates maintenance. Like the household light bulb the tube is "switch in switch out" (at least in the case of the most common form of fitting with a starter). I have had the tubes independently tested by SAA Approvals to show they comply with Australian standards and safety requirements, and a host of other tests with respect to things such as electromagnetic thresholds have also been done. Now the best news for business owners ... its inexpensive. The electricity saving can cover the cost in under a year! We are commencing a real world advertising campaign shortly so you may see LED Tube lighting about the place. Sales are business to business but if you are in Brisbane and need a couple of tubes or even other LED lights Id be happy to provide them. Anyway please "like" LED Tube Lighting. I need your help to get this page going and grow the business and I do really appreciate your support.

13.01.2022 Light fantastic - our T8 retrofit commercial refrigerator range. Combined 20000 lumens... The iPhone did well to pick that up.

12.01.2022 We know we are operating in the right space when articles like this, even in the US, talk about energy saving options for lighting, but fail to mention the LED tube. Fluorescent tubes are more common than any other form of lighting, but it is not common knowledge that they can be replaced by LED tubes. Operating in a new area means our biggest challenge is getting the message out there. There are a lot of tubes to change and tons of savings for businesses with an eye on cost savings and sustainability.

08.01.2022 I talk to business owners every day about the benefits of using LED tubes (as opposed to fluorescent tubes) to light their businesses. While there are many considerations including environmental, the primary selling point is the energy savings. LED tubes which are typically 18w will typically replace fluorescent tubes that are 36w. That means the electricity used is half and so is the bill! The price of our tubes are such that they generally pay for themselves in electricity savings within one year. This is a pretty compelling argument to change. But the tubes also last years longer than fluorescents so the saving keep coming year after year.

08.01.2022 Commercial Light fittings should have replacable lamps

07.01.2022 We have a new product for 2015. Its adjustable and has smart features that allow it to reduce energy consumption by up to 90% when compared to fluorescent tubes. That is why linear LED lighting is replacing fluorescent lighting everywhere! This product is exclusive to LED Tube Lighting. Please share.

07.01.2022 We are considering introducing a cheaper fully plastic tube to our range. It is still a high quality tube but it could probably retail for $17 rather than the usual $25. Because the tube is plastic it can take a cheaper non-isolated driver. The trade-off is that without the aluminum back for heat disbursement the tube may not last as long. Let us know if this would be something that would interest you.

07.01.2022 We've solved 4 LED bulb problems 1. Price - dimmable LED bulbs from $7 2. Functionality - bright and dimmable 3. Beam angle - full 360 degrees 4. Appearance - looks like a filament bulb... Our 6w bulb produces more light than an old style 60w, also in a warm, cool and daylight. Available soon. See more

07.01.2022 We have produced a custom LED tube pendant to help Nike stores in Sydney and Melbourne to display their products. In January these pendent tube lights will appear in some of their stores. Thanks to Ben Botting at Boom Studios for the idea and design.

06.01.2022 This is the final design for our van, or should I say moving billboard. We use Fastways couriers but this can deliver for the bigger jobs and itll help get the message out there also. BTW I have to give a plug for the VW Caddy, it is one comfortable van, and it drives tight like a sedan. Itll also carry 640 LED 1200mm tubes in the back which is a plus.

05.01.2022 If you are in business then you are in the business of cost management. One form of cost reduction that you may have overlooked is switching out those old Fluorescent tubes. Changing them to high quality LED tubes can provide you with more optimal lighting, eliminate maintenance and reduce your electricity usage by 50%.

04.01.2022 We are supporting your local IGA Supermarket in making the change to energy efficient lighting with a huge 20% discount (to select IGA stores until 7 July 2014)on LED tubes to replace fluorescent tubes. IGA Stores take sustainability seriously which is borne out by their sustainability policy which I have linked below. http://iga.com.au///07/iga_sustainability_policy_aug11.pdf

03.01.2022 This week our LED Tubes are being demonstrated at the Westpac Hamilton branch. The demo shows two fixtures, one with fluorescent tubes and one with LED tubes. Both fixtures are connected to watt meters which show the fluorescents are using 92 Watts and the LEDs are using only 38 Watts. The fixtures are unaltered as the tubes are direct replacement. We hope this is the clearest demonstration yet that LED tubes reduce power consumptions by more than 50%. The electricity savings pay for the tubes over a very short time period.

03.01.2022 Im back to Guangzhou City for the second time in a month. This time for the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition. These guys know how to make lighting exciting so Ill be looking for ideas for our new showroom due to open this year.

03.01.2022 I just got back from a visit to LED Tube Lightings factory in Zhongshan City China. I visited 7 other factories also. I have to say that I was very impressed with how technologically advanced and professional most of them were. But our factory when you look at all the different aspects still comes out tops.

02.01.2022 The most sort after cost reduction initiatives in business are those that are inexpensive to implement. Switching old toxic fluorescent tubes for newer more efficient LED tubes is an example of such an initiative, and its one that businesses may not have on their radar screens. We set up LED Tube Lighting to increase awareness of this new technology and to develop an LED tube that is suitable for the Australian market. When compared to fluorescent tubes, high quality LED tubes use half the power, last up to three times as long and contain no heavy metals. The business rationale for changing is economic. Our goal was to develop an LED tube that would generate enough savings from electricity and maintenance that the tube paid for itself in a very short time period. This goal has since become a reality.
