24.01.2022 British Labour has suspended Jeremy Corbyn. The former Labour leader has been a consistent voice for Palestine. Charges of anti-Semitism are being misused in Britain and here by the Zionist lobby to intimidate people from supporting the Palestinian struggle. The work of those who speak out against anti-Semitism and Islamophobia is weakened when people make false or exaggerated allegations about such forms of racism. At this time when the impact of the Zionist lobby on British Labour is on display it is worth remembering that this party has had some fine MPs who stood up to Israel. This is a speech by a Jewish Labour MP, Gerald Kaufman. He had the courage to say how Israel is acting like Nazis in Gaza. The speech is from 2009. Sadly Gerald died in 2017.
