25.01.2022 Client: Harris HMC Project: Bunjil Place Engaged: Harris HMC... Project Purpose: The purpose of this project was to deliver a safe work site whilst delivering low level acoustic values. We were engaged by Harris HMC to create a solution which allowed onsite staff to continue working with minimum noise disruption and we were able to achieve this with our acoustic panelling. Outcome: This project was successfully completed within the scope provided by the client to achieve a safe worksite protecting it’s staff and the public in reducing the noise pollution created with an active worksite. 23.01.2022 To date, Lee Brothers Group provided and installed thousands of metres of fencing across over 30 projects for the Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP) working with a broad range of stakeholders to deliver a variety solutions at new stations, stabling yards, track duplication and more. 20.01.2022 Project Flashback! Lee Brothers Group designed and constructed a noise barrier over 1km along the Dandenong Bypass in Keysborough to prevent traffic noise from the Dandenong Bypass Road into newly developed residential area. The design incorporated a section of staggered perspex and timber walls to cater for pedestrian access. This pathway ensured noise reduction requirements were met, achieved a modern appearance, allowed light to filter through and pedestrian safety was ach...ieved . 12.01.2022 This year for Safe Work Australia Safety Month, we awarded Ray and Paul as our Safety Champions for their safety attitude and adaptability to ensure enhanced COVID-19 measures are achieved. Ray is a critical staff member in developing and managing safety with regular urgent adjustments to support our COVID safe plan. Examples include: - Implementing and managing systemised, clear and easy-to-follow vehicle schedules and routine checks. - Supporting a safety culture though ado...pting and educating safety practices and preventing risk. - Ensuring PPE is worn and sets high expectations within the working environment by following safe work operations. Paul manages operations within our manufacturing and factory team. Paul also ensures Safe Working Practices are achieved within our whole company. Paul takes a proactive approach to OHS direction by: - Ensuring his team are adhering to workplace policies and procedures. - Enforcing clean and tidy workspaces. - Speaking up with safety issues. - Acting as a role model by setting example and always wearing PPE. 01.01.2022 Lee Brothers Group are donating materials to non-profit St Andrews Wildlife Shelter so they can expand how many animals they can care for during their peak seasons. In the last year, the Wildlife Shelter cared for more than 350 native animals and with additional enclosures this will expand their capacity during the much needed peak periods. The wildlife shelter specialise in orphaned and injured possums (particularly ringtails) however they also help wombats, kangaroos, tawny... frogmouths, other birds and more. Nick (our Director) sons enjoyed their visit to the St Andrews Wildlife Shelter and got to see the baby and orphaned possums in their enclosures and possum boxes, visited the tawny frogmouth aviary, peeked at the injured kangaroo and learned lots about all the animals.
