25.01.2022 In July this year, the Russell Bedford International Asia-Pacific conference went digital for the first time ever and attracted record breaking attendance with over 80 participants around the world! Check out what Lee Green & Co Director Michael Sweeney had to say about the conference below. "The Russell Bedford Asia-Pacific Conference is always a key date on the calendar. It is an opportunity to meet and discuss issues affecting the region with other members of the network... and identify opportunities to benefit our clients by working across borders. This year, like everything else in 2020, was different. With travel restrictions across most of the region impacting the ability to meet in person, the conference program went online. COVID-19 also impacted the conference program itself, with sessions on future-proofing businesses, use of automation, and marketing in the current climate being key sessions. As host of the marketing session on day 2, I was able to draw on experience from our Malaysia, Hong Kong and China network offices. 10.01.2022 #BlackFriday sales are just around the corner, and while the prospect of snagging some big savings is exciting, there’s no need to blow out your budget. Here's some great tips on how to stay on track with your spend: 1. Write a list: Separate the items you need (e.g. household items that you can buy in bulk) from those that you want (e.g new clothes, technology, cosmetics, etc.) and prioritise them. You might want to consider including christmas and/or birthday gifts as a ...separate list too. 2. Determine a budget: Based on these lists, determine how much you are comfortable with spending. You might want to also budget for impulsive purchases as it’s easy to get carried away in the excitement! 3. Do your research: Investigate the offers available on the items that you wish to purchase, and consider the normal price to determine the actual benefit of the sale (if there is one!). 4. Create rules: Allocate an amount of time to each item. Spending too much time trying to find an item that you want, may cause you to lose out on an item that you need.
