21.01.2022 Whats the perfect way to learn how to sew a straight line? Grab yourself some lined paper, like the page of an excercise book, unthread your sewing machine, and sew along the lines of the paper! With practice, you will be sewing a dead straight line as long as you want it to be, and as fast as your machine will allow

17.01.2022 This baby, is now ready for sale. I have been sewing with it all day, without a hitch, and sews like a dream. If you are looking for a great older solid work horse, this machine is for you. Has straight stitch, and also comes with a zigzag cam, and various attachments. It has been fully serviced and cleaned, and is now ready for many many more years of enjoyment. If I didn't have so many already, I'd be keeping it myself! $70 Ono.

03.01.2022 My current project machine. HG Palmer Princess, made in about the 1960s. Bought her on ebay, not working, no idea what was wrong. Picked her up, had her sewing the perfect stitch after a good service, within an hour. Isnt she beautiful? Now, to sell or add to my collection....hmmm

Quilting books, magazines, embroidered 'Mum' face washers and towels, coasters, pot mats, quilts, and even some sewing machines for sale! Come on down and say hello, we will be happy to see you. 02.01.2022 Well, this it, my first finished project for a while, started last sunday, finished today. Fabulous to be back in the sewing room once again! Made for a special little peanut who is not born yet, but due in June. NO, its not me! haha. What do you think?

01.01.2022 Well, another year has almost come to an end, now its time to start ramping up for next year, making New Years Reslolutions, to break them all by the end of next week lol. But, one thing is for sure, I do hope 2014 brings everyone good fortune and lots of joy and smiles. I have been pretty busy lately moving house, fixing a few machines, and just getting back into the swing of patchwork again, now I have my own sewing room back. I forgot how much time I can whittle away in front of one of my many machines, and how much I enjoy creating something out of scraps of fabric. Ill post pics when Im finished my current project. So, everyone, please have a safe and Happy New Year, and keep those sewing machines turning!
