23.01.2022 Talk about double trouble! If you are anything like us, you will not be able to get enough of Corinda and Rosemary. These little ladies are just nine months ...old, and of an age where they are always up to mischief! Corinda (dark grey joey) belongs to mum Sinnamon. You may recognise her from last weeks milk-feeding livestream. In exciting news, she is now so big and strong that she no longer needs supplementary feeding from our keepers. Rosemary (light grey joey) belongs to mum Angelica, and was our very first joey to emerge from the pouch this joey season. 23.01.2022 With grooming salons open around the country post-lockdown, it’s time to tame that winter coat. Some dog breeds like Cavoodles, Samoyeds, Pomeranians, Poodles and Shih Tzu’s need grooming year-round. Other breeds may just need a ‘winter blowout’ to help shed their winter coat. Grooming is an important part of pet care and helps keep your pet’s coat healthy. If you notice your pet’s skin looking red, inflamed, greasy or dry, contact us today for advice.
23.01.2022 These three kittens were taken into foster care by a family. Their caretaker had the idea of putting a toy wrestling ring in front of them to see their reaction.

21.01.2022 House plants are a great way to bring life and colour to your home but not all plants are compatible with pets. If youve recently gotten new plants (or a new pet), check this list to make sure they arent toxic: - Lilies (including peace lily and lily flowers) - Oleander - Ivy - Sago palms... - Rubber tree plants - Philodendrons - Lantana See more

17.01.2022 As the weather starts heating up, you might be wondering if you still need to use jackets and coats to keep your dog warm at night. If your dog has a short coat or low body fat, they will be more sensitive to the cold and will benefit from a winter jacket for longer. A good rule of thumb: if you see your dog shivering, or if the temperature is under 10 degrees, they will still benefit from a coat at night.

15.01.2022 Is your pet a fan of cool tiles, sprinklers or wading pools? There are plenty of easy strategies to keep your pets cool this summer, like putting ice cubes in their water, freezing some salt-reduced stock in Kong toys or lying down wet towels. Always ensure your pet has access to cool, shaded and well-ventilated areas. Do you have a cute picture of your pet keeping cool this summer? Post it below!

07.01.2022 It me, Jax. Mum did a horrible horrible ting. I was taking one of my daily 20 beauty sleeps, and I wakes up to this! She turned floofy broder into mush! This u...nacceptables. I loved floofy broder the way he was! Big disappoint mom. Might need new home before she turn me into mush pile too! . (Jax's husky brother Kramer was due for a good combing.. jax woke up to this while Kramer was outside and let me just say he was NOT happy with this. Gave me judgey looks until he saw his brother come back in and was not in fact turned into a floof pile) See more
07.01.2022 The moment this dog saves her kitten from falling into the pool
07.01.2022 If your pet has a thick or double coat, youll notice them start to shed as the winter weather comes to an end. Groomers can help to remove the dead hair from your pets winter coat or if you are keen to do it yourself just make sure you use a brush that is gentle on the skin. Brush in the direction that the hair grows and if you encounter a mat, gently untangle it with your fingers. If your dog has several mats, take them to a groomer for assistance.

05.01.2022 Keep your dog safe this summer by avoiding walks when temperatures rise above 30 degrees, and even lower for brachycephalic (squishy-faced) breeds. Only walk during the cooler hours of the morning and evening. Stick to shaded areas and stop walks early if you notice your dog is panting heavily. Seek veterinary attention immediately if your dog becomes overheated. Symptoms include heavy panting, excessive salivating, collapse and brick red gums.
