23.01.2022 It’s so exciting everyone been able to get away whether it’s a holiday or weekend away. Over the last few months I have looked after some very special animals who have been so much fun to be around.

17.01.2022 HEAT WARNING Temperatures are set to soar today so it's more important than ever to keep your pets safe in this extreme weather. HYDRATE Ensure your p...ets have access to plenty of cool, fresh water at all times. COOL OFF IN THE SHADE Make sure your pet has access to shade and, if possible, consider bringing them inside if you have air conditioning or a fan. WAIT TO WALK Avoid taking your pooch for a walk during the middle of the day when temperatures peak. Remember: if you can’t leave your hand on the pavement for longer than 5 seconds, it’s too hot for your pooch. Just like people, animals can hurt their feet on hot surfaces too! BE SUN SAFE Slip, slop, slap! Especially if your pet is white, as they have a higher risk of skin cancer. Make sure to pop on some doggy sunscreen or zinc if going out in the sun, and keep your kitties indoors. CONSIDER FREEZING TREATS Letting your pets play with frozen ice cubes is a fun way to help them cool down. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PETS IN THE CAR It can only take 6 minutes for a dog to die in a hot car. Never leave your pets unattended in a car. If you believe your pet is experiencing any health problems as a result of heat, please contact your local veterinarian as soon as possible. 14.01.2022 This morning after checking on the animals I’m looking after, I have made watermelon ice blocks to give them later on and to put ice in their pools to keep cool. Ice in their water bowls just so they will be cool enough to get through the day. Don’t forget everyone to look after your animals keep them cool have fresh clean cool water. Don’t forget to drink lots of water for yourself too. Stay
