24.01.2022 Have you found that you have been eating a lot more since lockdown and all the wrong foods. You now find that you dont feel very well and have gained a few pounds. The worst part you really crave carbs and sugar because that was what you seem to crave. Time to kick the sugar habit and fast. Their is a 3 Step Sugar Detox Plan. Follow this plan and you can kick your sugar habit. First access the foods that you are eating right no...w, learn how to replace them with healthier alternatives and then follow the diet. Before embarking on any new food regime, you have to examine your current eating habits. You need to encourage yourself to keep a log of the foods you eat over a given period - say 1 to 2 weeks so that you can properly access which of your habits need changing. . Know your Foods. Get rid of all sweet temptations. When shopping make sure you have eaten before shopping and eating protein will make you feel full. Will be less tempted. Dont be tempted to buy any sweet treats because you will eat them. Vary your protein and come up with a variety of sources including fresh fish, eggs, yoghurt and cheese. Be aware of any allergies and stay away from these foods as they will effect your success. Choosing complex carbs with low sugars will help you stay on track. Success of maintaining your low sugars depends on maintaining a healthy balanced diet. Good luck I am following this as I was bad over lockdown as well.#sugarfree# See more

12.01.2022 Benefits of giving up sugar. -Lose weight, feel great. By reducing your calorie intake you are helping your body work through any excess stored in fat deposits, creating a leaner and healthier body. -Glowing Skin. When substituting sugary snacks with fresh vegetables the body gets a huge hit of vitamins, minerals and most importantly water. You have brighter and healthier skin. -Increased Energy. Sugary snac...ks cause a quick high but are soon followed by exhausting energy slumps that leaves you feeling more tired than you were before. -Better Digestion. Excess sugar consumption can cause extreme strain on the intestine and can contribute to sugar intolerance in irritable bowel syndrome sufferers. Their are many more reasons to give up sugar but as you can see the reasons can really impact your health massively. Give it a try you will be surprised on how great you will feel. When you start the first couple of days you will not feel great as your body will be looking for sugar. Stay with it and you will appreciate the difference.. #sugarfreelife# See more
11.01.2022 Just keep going.
11.01.2022 This is my first recipe for reducing sugars in your diet. We can start with my favorite breakfast porridge. This is mango, banana, coconut and chia seeds oatmeal porridge. It is really yummy and really good for you. The best part is it is really filling, chia seeds are full of omega fatty acids, fibre, iron and calcium. Where oatmeal is one of healthiest grains on earth and oatmeal also helps with weight-loss and lowering blood sugar levels. One of the great things about oat...s as a herbalist is we class them as a nervine which means they help your nervous system and reduce stress. You cannot go wrong eating oats you can also put some protein powder in your porridge and it will keep you going all day. The recipe. 1/2 cup good quality oats. 1/2 cup chopped mango. 1 cup of water. 1 tablespoon of unsweetened shredded coconut. 1/2 tablespoon chia seeds. -Cooking Instructions. Boil a cup of water Once the water is boiling add oats and stir. Add 1/4 cup mango and banana and chia seeds keep stirring until cooked. Poor into bowl or large jar add milk of choice top with remaining mango and shredded coconut.. You can leave out the banana if you want to reduce your fruit sugars. You can also eats this later in the morning if you are on an intermittent diet. Enjoy #sugarfreefoods See more

09.01.2022 Have you ever taken on something thinking this is going to be easy and when you start you think what have I done: Think of these words. A LITTLE PROGRESSION EACH DAY ADDS UP TOO BIG RESULTS. Have fun!
09.01.2022 Logging your food is your next step to reducing sugar. A food log helps to slowly but surely guide you to what you want to eat and how to avoid the pitfalls. All you need is a notebook, preferably with calendar and schedules. Give yourself a few days, perhaps even a week to diagnose what is going on with your diet. Then you can make the changes. Take it slowly you are going to handle small changes better than taking everything out and feeling quite badly and craving every...thing. The most important thing is take the favorite treats out of the house first because you will crave them if you know they are in the cupboard. When you go shopping or out to places where you know they will have food you love. Make sure you eat before you go out and eat protein to make you feel full. My next post will be about great foods to eat to replace the foods you are eating that are high in sugar. Have fun logging your food. #sugarfreefood See more

06.01.2022 Do you have problems with snoring or does your partner snore which effects his sleep and yours. It is such a common problem. The first thing you need to do is get checked out by your doctor to make sure their are no physical problems in your nose or mouth. If everything is in the clear and you are still snoring their a couple if things you can do to help. Hot shower can help open up the nasal passages.... Neti pot could also be used to rinse out nasal passages with salt water solution. Nasal strips may help depending where the problem exists in your nose or within the soft palate. Change your pillows dust mites can build up in your pillows and cause allergic reactions. Stay well hydrated secretions in your nose and soft palate become stickier when dehydrated. Overhaul get enough sleep, sleep on your side, avoid alcohol before bedtime. The best remedy for snoring I have found is a homeopathic I use in my clinic and it works amazingly. I have used it on my husband who is a terrible snorer. The homeopathic is called LM FOMULA Ear Nose and Throat and it works on all those areas. You take 30 drops 3 times a day and it really reduces their snoring. If you want to try it comment on this post and I will get back to you. Good luck. #nomoresnoring See more

04.01.2022 Steak sandwich I made this last night for dinner with some soup. This is great for lunch or dinner with the protein from the steak and the fats with the avocado and is low in sugar. I also used paleo toast so no gluten. Great meal you should try it. #sugarfreemeal
04.01.2022 One of the many conditions caused my constant high intake if sugar is Diabetes. People dont usually get sick out of the blue. Illness is usually preceded by a number of negative contributory factors, which together compromise our immune system and reveal themselves in various physical symptoms and psychological imbalances. Many of the damaging effects of simple carbohydrates and bad sugars, however can remain undetected in the body. Since blood sugar levels can appear nor...mal over long periods of time. Some of the conditions that can be effected are low iron or ferritin, fatigue, thyroid conditions, insomnia, chronic pain and psychological well-being are often not connected with an impaired sugar metabolism and as such, are treated as isolated conditions. Even worse, the damaging causes behind these conditions remain undetected and can cause widespread damage to the body. It is definitely time to assess our diets and look at all the hidden sugar in our diets. You will be surprised just how much sugar you are consuming. #sugarfreelifestyle# See more
02.01.2022 Are you addicted to sugar it is such a common addiction as their is so much sugar in all our foods. Frequent cravings for sweet things, snacking between meals and excessive cravings of bread, noodles, and pasta or pizza as well as high fruit consumption in the evening. This should be enough to make us prick our ears up and consider whether or not we have developed an addiction. This is particularly the case if we feel tired and less able to concentrate after a meal. There a...re several additional indicators: - mood swings energy lows. - pressure or a feeling of tension in the abdomen. - difficultly in sleeping. - a state of anxiety, tension after eating. - particular craving for dairy or starch. Everyone craves sugar at certain times in our life especially women and especially around hormonal times of the month but it can be managed. If you have any questions about managing your sugar cravings. Leave a comment and I will answer any of your questions.#sugarfreelife# See more

01.01.2022 Self worth is so important for everyone even the really successful people who look like they have it totally together have problems with self worth. Self worth drives us all people can be addicted to anything. Food, working out, work and sex and all these addictions are all connected to your self worth. Work is to be the best, to be noticed, working out is to have the best body to be noticed and have approval from other people. Food is trying to get the best body to fit in ...and be acknowledged and sex addiction can often be from wanting to be loved not having enough affection. If you seek validation what you are getting is other people to make you feel whole. It does not happen. You are as perfect as you can be. Think of yourself as amazing and flawless and other people will see this amazing person. To resolve your self worth problems it is a 3 step solution. 1. Become aware of what you are seeking for your self worth from outside sources. 2. Become aware of how you are seeking your self worth is it from food, work or working out or any other forms of addictions. 3. How you can remind yourself how perfect and whole you are as you currently are. Self worth is such an important thing for each individual working on it every day can make such a difference in your life. See more
