25.01.2022 We are looking at arranging a free community event in January 2015 for the purpose of, hopefully, sparking an interest in starting a healthy lifestyle among the local residents of Tuart Hill, Joondanna, Yokine, Stirling, North Perth and surrounding areas. Unfortunately the council, being the council, want to charge us for the use of Robinson Reserve. The whole idea is to ask for gold coin donations and give the raised money to a local charity or good cause (as determined by ...the residents themselves). Does anybody know of a business that wants to look super good and pay the $155 to Stirling City Council, to ensure this event can go ahead? We will be looking at getting the local paper involved, and obviously there will be a mass poster campaign, so whoever can help will get loads of free publicity. Anyone who can assist, please let me know ASAP. Thanks very, very much! See more

19.01.2022 Right kids! Time to re-evaluate your life/weight/fitness, etc! On Monday we start a new year of trying to attain that body we have always dreamed of. ;-) We will be starting off fairly steady to ease you back into things, and then we will be cranking things up a level. It seems everyone wants to step up the intensity, so that is exactly what we will do. We will be starting off with a weigh-in on Monday, so that we all know our "starting point" for 2015! Just to help ease the guilt a little, I shall be running a free (yes, FREE!) session on Sunday down at Scarborough Beach. For those of you that have done a couple of the sessions down there earlier this month you will know that it's a great cardio-blasting, fat-burning, muscle-aching session. So, please let me know, either on here or via text who is up for it. :-)

17.01.2022 Great speed session this morning. 12 willing clients, plus yours truly! We started off with a 1km time trial on the road. Great effort from everyone. Ranged between 3.11 and 6.08! Pretty impressed. Shame the rain then came and spoiled the 200m sprints and hills. More of the same next week. Come and join us on Friday morning for a leg/lung busting session. They will really improve your VO2 max!

14.01.2022 A shout out to my clients. Especially Iain Tordoff who, 2 weeks ago having never broken 40 minutes for 10km, has done it twice on consecutive weekends. Great work!
14.01.2022 Just done the Trigg bush run with Iain Tordoff (Tordy). 6.25km over rough terrain, with lots of hills in 27.58! Our best time so far. Really happy with that run. 4.28 mins/km! Felt like we were going well.

13.01.2022 Why not try this simple little recipe for homemade hummus? It makes approx. 3 cups. You will need:- 2 cans of chickpeas (drain off the liquid, but keep to one side) 1/2 cup of Tahini... Juice and rind from 1 lemon 2 Garlic cloves 2 pinches of dried chilli flakes 2 teaspoons of ground cardamon Mix all ingredients together in a bowl (except drained off liquid). Slowly add the liquid until correct consistency and texture. Done! Thats it. How easy is that. And it will keep for up to a week in the fridge. Enjoy, and give me some feedback please. 08.01.2022 With just over a week to go before we tackle the MS Stadium Stair Race, two consecutive days of running up and down stairs (approx 2250 steps) has meant burning quads and an understanding that 5800 steps are going to hurt. We cannot wait to challenge ourselves and push through the pain. Watch this space to see how we go.....

04.01.2022 Well, that was fantastic! Tough Mudder was so good. We all got round in one piece, with only a few grazes and bruises to show for 3.5 hours of physical effort. The team worked so well together. Everyone pushed and encouraged the others where there moments of doubt! Cannot wait for next year! I am sure the memories of feeling like was being kicked in the nuts will have subsided by then (elecro shock therapy!). Well done team. (Photos to follow soon)
