20.01.2022 Some great news to share! Leeton Sunrice Festival Committee grants have been announced and Leeton Rainbow Pride Collective is pleased to receive grant of $400 which we will use to purchase tear drop flags for fundraising purposes. A huge thank you to the Sunrice Festival Ambassadors for all the money raised ($35,000). These funds are returned to the community by way grants. A huge community gift! 11.01.2022 This weekend we were to celebrate Leeton's Inaugural Pride Mardi Gras but COVID crushed our plans. A big thank you to all who contributed to our fundraising efforts by donating gifts for our raffles, purchasing our raffle tickets and donations of money. Not to forget Bunnings and Woolworths for the use of their BBQ facilities and Bunnings for the $500 Gift Voucher.... A big thank you also to the following businesses for their donations. Brossos Farmland, IGA Golden Apple Leeton Newsagency, The Bush Chemist The Amcal Chemist, Supercheap Auto The Jack in the Box, Mitre 10 Hardware Timeless Treasures, Reject Shop Leeton Trophy Centre and Sports Power A huge thank you to our Community Partner ACON for their continued support but especially to Tyson Arapali ACON's Regional Out Reach Liason. A huge thank you also to Leeton Shire Council who has supported our project from the beginning.
