16.01.2022 Our Committee members will once again be on the gate at the Leeton Trots tonight assisting with the COVID-19 sign in. To assist with the smooth entry into the Showground please register before entering by scanning your camera over the QR code. If your phone won’t scan we will be there to assist you. Once completed please show the gate volunteers as you enter. Thank you for your assistance.

08.01.2022 EXCITING WORK AT THE SHOWGROUND. Work will commence on the Cola being built over the existing netball court. Once completed this will provide another pavilion for our exhibitors on show weekend, plus an all weather netball court for the Crows 2021 season. The photo shows the steel being unloaded last week and the other photo is what the finished work will look like. Happy times. Thank you to Susan Ley and the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment for the grant we received. Thank you also to Leeton Shire Council and Leeton SunRice Festival for their grant of $1,000 each to help the Show Society complete this project. Special thank you to the people who purchased tickets in our 100 Club, proceeds of this will also go towards this project.

04.01.2022 Leeton Show Society are making sure families and communities doing it tough this festive season will not be forgotten. The Society teamed up with the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW and Good360 to make sure Santa Claus gets to families on the land and those affected by drought and bushfires. Good360 repurpose surplus brand-new goods and directs them to the Australian’s who need them most, in this case regional communities with children who may otherwise miss out on the jo...y of a gift beneath the Christmas tree. This year the toys have been supplied by LEGO During the past week our Committee members had the pleasure of delivering boxes of Lego to the 7 Primary Schools in Leeton for their Giving Tree. Lego was also presented to Leeton Community Christmas Lunch plus a special delivery was taken by Need for Feed Disaster Relief for children affected by the bushfires.
